When will her first day Spotify numbers be revealed? This is the first time she's actually promoted her lead single on the platform so I'm curious to see if the numbers will match LWYMMD. Of course, this is global. And are they actually accurate? The play count numbers are often times higher than the eventual figures that get revealed. I have her doing anywhere from 8.5-9 million global streams first day.

I honestly cannot believe we are 2 eras away from 1989, it felt like yesterday when that record was smashing singles left and right. Time flies!

It just hit me, but isn't Panic! at the Disco a one-man band now, Brendon and no one else? If that's the case then why isn't "Me!" simply "featuring Panic! at the Disco"?

I can't help but find it amusing how ''Reputation'' and ''Everything is Love'' eras have shook Taylor and Beyonce to their core. Taylor is now releasing Disney music, while Beyonce is acting like an instagram baddie. http://instagr.am/p/BwuX7E-BYdI I find this post funny considering Beyonce is releasing literal Disney music this summer with the Lion King soundtrack

Taylor Swift's 'ME!' Tops YouTube Record for Most-Watched Video in 24 Hours by a Solo or Female Artist News By Ashley Iasimone | April 27, 2019 7:22 PM EDT
Taylor Swift, "ME!" ft. Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco
Taylor Swift topped multiple YouTube records with the debut of her new music video for "ME!" featuring Panic! at the Disco's Brendon Urie. According to a release from YouTube sent on Saturday (April 27), Swift's "ME!" video clocked in a record-breaking 65.2 million views within the first 24 hours of its release on April 26.
YouTube confirms that this feat makes Swift the solo and female artist with the biggest 24-hour debut on YouTube to-date.
While her numbers top solo artist Ariana Grande's previous record of over 55 million views for "Thank U, Next," K-pop group BTS still holds the overall biggest YouTube 24-hour view record, with "Boy With Luv" featuring Halsey reaching more than 74 million views in that timeframe -- making "ME!" the the second biggest 24-hour debut of any video to be released on the streaming platform.
The "ME!" video marks the most impressive 24-hour debut ever for Swift, trailed by the 43.2 million views her "Look What You Made Me Do" video notched during its first day. "ME!" also received more likes in its first day than any of Swift's earlier music video releases. Swift currently counts more than 33 million subscribers on her official YouTube channel, which makes her one of just eight musicians who have over 30 million subscribers.

Did YouTube give back the 9-10M views that it removed?

Did YouTube give back the 9-10M views that it removed? Obviously looks like it did... I remember checking the views after the first day and it was 50 million. Who knows what bots gave it another 15 million. They should give 15 million extra views to OT Road everyday, I like that song, haha.

It's been almost 15 years, and looks like Taylor Swift still has snowballing weekly numbers on lead singles' debuts. On Hot 100, Tim McGraw debuted at #86, Love Story debuted at #16, Mine debuted at #3, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together (after pre-entering at #72) debuted at #1 with 62,000 points, Shake It Off debuted at #1 with 86,000 points, Look What You Made Me Do (after pre-entering at #77) debuted at #1 with 97,000 points, ME! seems to edge out LWYMMD's lead on sales, demand and youtube so far, if it can garner 170k sales, 65m airplay, 60m on-demand and 65m youtube this week, it can keep up with snowballing. But it's probably not that easy. The insightful question is: Taylor's snowball is gotta stop at some point. When is the energy gonna hit the end of the road? I think any star's gonna fade after a decade. I have a subtle yet strong feeling that this year is gonna be the end of something big.

Spotify numbers are finally out. ME! debuted with 3.5M US and 7.9M Global. Not bad considering Taylor has never been a streaming force
#1 seems possible

It will be #1 in sales, and it looks like it will be #1 in streaming considering its YouTube numbers. I guess in theory it could tank the rest of the week, but that's not likely. Terrible spoifty numbers for Taylor, guess it gonna have to grow to number one Terrible? Lol. You might have expected more, but in no way are those numbers "terrible."

Will it be #1 sales though? Based on Kworb, possibly another day and 'Old Town Road' will be back on top on iTunes

For a new lead Taylor single, those US Spotify numbers aren't really good. Especially considering that it did less than LWYMMD which dropped in 2017.

Um, after Reputation by no means are those numbers bad, she's coming off of a underwhelming era so a 3 million Spotify debut is pretty good. LWYMMD was coming off of 1989, there's no comparison.

The first week it’s on the chart is the debut. Billboard made a poor decision to keep the airplay week misaligned with everything else which allows these situations to occur, but that doesn’t mean we can make up new words and redefine “debut.”

I obviously know that. I know it's kinda absurd to have different tracking weeks for airplay and sales so that you can't really say that LWYMMD debuted at #1. Even though why not, right? It's just chart politics. It's just the game they play. They have subtlety and shades, but I'd rather not think about these things sometimes. Stop nitpicking at that. Focus on the real point.

But it surpassed LWYMMD's first day on youtube pretty well... so is its lead on iTunes pop bars. Why do you think it did that? Why can't she ever pull a Chained to the Rhythm and debut at #4? Didn't LWYMMD have VMA and more celebrity feud effect? LWYMMD had a great video. ME!'s video's one of the worst videos I've ever seen.

Then why did it break LWYMMD's YT record by a good amount?......Also, Spotify has grown by a lot since end of 2017. So although ME! may not be "bigger" than LWYMMD at the times they dropped, it shouldn't have a problem beating it in streams in mid 2019 considering how much Spotify has grown in the last year and a half.

Even if it’s “low” by Taylor’s standards, #1 on Spotify is still very good.
#2 should easily be on lock, given how weak the #2 currently is. If she doesn’t get this #1 it’s not gonna ruin her career lol.

Did ME! ever even reach #1 on Apple Music? I knew what I was saying when I said this new single would underperform in comparison to LWYYMD and we'll all watch it happen.
