Man, this is a jam and a half. Dude could probably be headlining stadiums before his second album era is over, if he wanted. This is going to be one hell of a fun ride.

Already #3 on country itunes behind Old Town Road Remix and God's Country. #12 overall. Old Town Road is no longer listed on country itunes, and hasn't been for a bit. Anyways this is already 6th all genre. I would be surprised if it doesn't hit #1 later today. Old Town Road remix is listed on country itunes. And it is now #3 all genre.

This is so good. He can do no wrong for me. What a jam. That banjo is great and I love the rockier edge to the production, but without it being over the top. It's a perfect balance imo. Excited to know that a new record is gonna be on the way from him soon as well.

Yeah this is a home run. I'm not crazy about the effects they used on his voice, especially in the second verse. But that's more of a nitpick. Everyone I know who listens to country is crazy about this guy - whether its girls who listen to Thomas Rhett or guys who are into the independent stuff and always bitch about Nashville. At what point do we start the conversation of whether he is the biggest star in Country Music?

I think he’s well on his way to being the biggest star in country music and could possibly be bigger than Garth was in his heyday.

I feel like it's a bit late to start that discussion, he's already there.

I do like this song alot, however, not gonna lie I prefer the live version that is up on Youtube. It seems to have more energy. I need to listen in my headphones later (instead of my dull car speakers). Having said that, still one hell of a jam, and will be on my summer playlist non-stop most likely. Just wish maybe something extra was added into the chorus (instrumentally). The studio version seems to miss an instrument. But then again, i need to give it a better listen.
Really stoked for the album. Does anyone think this album comes out early than expected? The label had to have known the lead single was going to smash, but I still think we get the album in August/September with single #2.

Dare I say it, but Luke Combs, your A.C.M. Artist of the Decade for the 2020s?

Hmm, guess I'll be the first to say I'm a little underwhelmed by this one. I like it, but the hype had me expecting something more dynamic. This is fine and pleasant enough, but it pails in comparison to "Must've Never Met You" and "Houston, We Got A Problem".

I’m sitting here in awe because (1) I literally have no words to describe how atrocious this is and (2) I’m shocked by how this has quickly blown up into a massive hit. I think this may be partially because of name recognition, and so hopefully the record cools off soon. But wow. Luke Combs continues to baffle me. I just don’t understand his appeal at all.

I personally thought BC was a huge snoozefest, but i am digging this! I must have listened to it 5 times today, including when my local radio played it for the first time today(possibly 2nd or 3rd, i heard it on radio around 2pm today) ...anywho this song reminds me of the kind of songs brooks and dunn used to put out, and i LOVE me some B&D.
So, does this get to #1 by the 4th of july? Or is that being too ambitious even for this?

It's possible given how hot Combs is now. I would open the door wider and say any time in July.

Also, #1 in Australia itunes all-genre. #2 in Canada itunes and #42 in the United Kingdom itunes. What a global star. #50 in US Apple Music and being highest charting country song there is also impressive.

Wow. I think I like his entire debut album more than this. With the hype this/he had, I expected a lot better from him. I’m sure this will grow on me and I’m sure he’ll have more of the sound from his first album on his new one, but this is a massive letdown from him. It’ll still be massive but he had so many better songs to send to radio from his debut. I get why they moved on to new music and it was the right decision, but wow it sucks to leave all those behind and release this...

This is such a smash. I can’t play anything else right now. And I’m by no means a Luke Combs worshipper like the rest of the world

I honestly don't really like this one, and this is from someone that loved his debut album and is obsessed with every single except "Beautiful Crazy", which was just good.
I still hope he continues his path to superstardom but this one is really underwhelming. Honestly, it would be my least favorite song on his debut album. It's still a radio-ready smash though.

What’s with all the obnoxious shouting in the chorus? I’ve never been a Combs fan, but this makes his debut album sound like art. I’m really praying that this one tests terribly and fizzles our after just a few weeks like the Sam Hunt song did.

The production on this is absolutely stellar! My only complaint is the lyrics are cheesy and verge on stereotypical bro country in spots, but that production and his energy in the performance kind of make that up for me and I really enjoy this.
