GOAT: Akon : No explanation needed
Sean Kingston : Same as Akon
A-Tier: Britney Spears : Can do awesome songs. Best pop singer of the late 90s and early 00s
Justin Bieber : First album was straight trash. Believe was ok. Purpose was great. His post-Purpose material is awesome.
Billie Eilish : Ocean Eyes is one of the best pop songs of 2016. Don't smile at me was a good album. WWFA,WDWG was great. She has so much potential to be a great pop artist.
Brina : SAI best pop album of 2018. Evolution best pop album of 2017. Not on GOAT tier cuz Sean Kingston and Akon are so great that nobody can even come close to them.
Lorde : No explanation needed
Bruno Mars : Joint Best R&B artist out there.
The Weeknd : Same as Bruno Mars
Kelsea Ballerini : Good music all round.
B-List: Ava Max : SBP was great. So Am I is a great song. She does not have enough material to make A-Tier. If she stays consistent with her quality she might make A-Tier
Rita Ora: Her 2017 onwards material is cute. But pre-2017 material is trash.
Ed Sheeran : His material is cute, nothing too special. No standouts really.
Hailee Steinfeld: Same as Ed Sheeran
Chvrches : Only know about 3 songs from them. But three good to great songs.
Adele : She's good. But her music is not my style. Better than Harry Styles. Consistent quality of music from her.
Little Mix : Good music everywhere
Alec Benjamin : No standout tracks. Good quality across the board
Khalid: Good. But I haven't gotten to listen to anything from Free Spirit.
Jonas Brothers : Good collectively but separately, Nick is a good artist, Joe and DNCE are not bad.
Mediocre: Selena Gomez : Would've been B-Tier if it were not for that god awful falsetto in Bad Liar.
Demi Lovato : Tries too hard in her material. Very inconsistent with quality. Sober was trash while Sorry Not Sorry was great.
Charli XCX : Nothing special. Just ok.
Dua Lipa : New Rules was awful. Again, very inconsistent with quality. IDGAF and KAMU were top 10 best 2018 pop songs.
Niall Horan : Is he really anything too special? I mean, his material is good, but that dirty laundry line was awful
Harry Styles : His music is good, but not my type.
Liam Payne : Generic male pop singer
Charlie Puth : Nothing Special. Consistently good quality. Close to B-Tier
Rihanna : ANTI was not good. But her other material is good. But she is unique. Trying too hard to use as much sex appeal as possible, but she's clever with using it.
Shawn Mendes : Illuminate was trash. Ok for everything else.
Troye Sivan : Really mediocre.
Lauv : Same as Troye Sivan
Not bad, but not good: Anne-Marie: 2002 was great. Friends was the worst 2018 song.
Daya: Insomnia is trash. SSLP was good. Too simple to be good.
Alessia Cara : Same as Daya. Her last album was straight up trash. She ruined Let Me Down Slowly and 1-800.
Tove Lo : If y'all think Rihanna uses too much sex appeal, well look at what Tove Lo does. Music is overwhelmed by sex appeal
Elliphant : She's basically the same as Tove Lo but without the sex appeal.
Bebe Rexha : Very generic
Christina Aguilera : Her song with Ty $ and 2 Chainz was too awful and tarnished her reputation.
Kesha : Her early 2010s music was awful. She's improved since then.
Lady Gaga : Her new music is not my type at all. Her old music was good.
Camila Cabello : Havana and NBTS were trash. Rest of her material is ok. OMG is in a special type of bad.
Sia : 2016 material is trash, but LSD is a good project.
The Chainsmokers : If we judge them solely on their singing ability and solo material, they would need some work.
Need some work: Zara Larsson : I don't really know what to say here. Lush Life is good, but her 2017-onwards material bar Symphony is trash.
Sam Smith : Not homophobic but his music is slow as hell for my liking.
Halsey : Y'all know the answer. Nothing to add here.
Taylor Swift : Too desperate for a #1. Reputation was trash. ME! is a good song.
Katy Perry : 365 saved her from the next tier
Maren Morris : Overly Generic. Not a good country artist.
Julia Michaels : Issues was trash. Rest of her discography is forgettable.
FUCKING TRASH (A category for Ariana Grande only): 0 Ability to be understood, her material is cliché after cliché, tries to hop on trends faster than Teen Titans Go and makes them trash. Cannot do adlibs. Cringy as hell. Even worse than Memphis Depay at rapping, and he switches between English and Dutch every 10 secs.
