Is it time yet to talk about the record?
Also, interestingly, God's Country is #20 on YouTube's latest update.

What is going on with "Me!" on kworb/Spotify? It's showing as only having been on the chart 2 days. Is that a new version?

I’ve never seen a more dominant/stable number 1......

hmm me! is currently above without me in radio, sales, spotify, and apple music... so hopefully it stays in the top 10 (even if it's at the tail end of it).

Lmao at OTR's lead for its' 8th week at #1. There's not any song coming close to dethroning it any time soon. I don't even think an Adele or Drake lead single would be able to take it down for a few more weeks.

I think it's time to seriously discuss if OTR can break the record. 90k+ points (maybe even 100k+) and 3:1 lead over the #2 on it's 8th week at #1 is insane.

It happened with songs like Bad and Boujee before, but that was because they added (feat. lil uzi vert) to the title so not sure why ME! got split because I don't see a difference.

3 = Lil Nas X - Old Town Road (feat. Billy Ray Cyrus) [Remix] 43 3 (x4) 116.42 +0.29 4 116.42
That's 90m in BDS airplay. And it's already stalled.
Oh no.......... Pretty much every top-of-the-decade hit reached 150+m peak in BDS airplay Even Despacito was close to that mark and topped radio for 5 weeks.
At this pace OT Road won't even reach 100m in BDS. Radio's insane. Who knows what's wrong with them. No wonder it's been years since I listened to radio at all.

I don't understand why people always complain about how low radio numbers are when the panels have been changed so they'll obviously never be the heights they were.

Can you explain to me when and how have the panels changed? Just 2 years ago, Shape of You and That's What I Like both did 170+m in BDS airplay. That's a high peak in any era. In some old times such as 2010-2012 no song reached 170m in BDS airplay. I think What's My Name's the closest there was.

Hellos sales debut week was legendary and its second week was on par with the previous sales record. Obviously there will be a decline, but as long as promo is well handled it should launch with gigantic numbers

It's because "OTR" isn't doing anything at adult formats. It's currently #1 at both Rhythmic and Urban, and it's top 10 at Pop, so it's doing very well at its core formats. But without the crossover to Hot AC, AC, and/or Country, its ceiling is lower than other songs you've been referencing. "That's What I Like," for instance, had support from the same 3 formats "OTR" is doing well at, but also had big Hot AC and AC play.

Yeah AC is never touching OTR, but surprisingly, it's at #23 on Hot AC.

Yeah AC is never touching OTR Why? It doesn't sound more childish than most hit songs. Blurred Lines, Happy, Shape of You, That's What I Like, etc, all sound just as childish, if not way more cringy... And it sounds pretty contemporary... What more do they want for "adult contemporary"? Something old and pretentious? Ed Sheeran and Andrea Bocelli cover a West Side Story musical?

Looks like Billboard's not the only one to play tongue-in-cheek with me. I take OT Road as a country song no problem. It gets me feeling more country sceneries than ever.

Adele's not coming until October at the earliest. They said late 2019. No way she's the next #1.

So many huge artists peaking at #2. I’m glad Ariana got her two #1s in before the OTR storm lol

OTR storms only because of the user generated video uploads and views and 3 versions out there.
It'd be #1 without them yes but not in those heights. But it's interesting to see will those special efforts and viral status actually lift it to the record number of weeks at #1.

It's looking like Just Us might somehow come out the winner of Father of Asahad - First out of the album on Spotify even after not starting that high, and second in the radio. It might be wishful thinking but this might be the big hit of the album after radio steamrolls in.

So if despacito started its chart run now, would it dethrone OTR?
