Press won’t be making it to the top 10, due to the fact that there isn’t any airplay. NRO has airplay, stable on iTunes and it’s streams aren’t too bad. It’s kind’ve weird that a huge artist like Cardi B doesn’t have a radio deal, especially when label mates like Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars have the complete package when it comes to their releases.

Cardi was actually recording a radio edit for "Press" two days ago.
Her team is really dumb for not pushing it to radio on release (and recording a clean edit before dropping it).

If the plan is to drop it on radio Monday, it would be intelligent on their part, due to the fact that tracking week for radio for next week’s hot 100 starts on Monday. |

^ Yeah I'm curious as to why that's never done. I don't think it would hurt sales or streams too much as long as it's released to radio within a couple days, and it might even help stabilize or even increase the former two throughout the whole week so it's not so front-loaded, and of course all three metrics contributing to the same week would only lead to a higher debut position.

Can we please keep politics out of music discussions? I like where this is a place I can escape from that. (The #1 song on iTunes was just the ironically hyper-political “Shut Up About Politics” lmao... also, all art is political) I meant the talks about republicans vs democrats and, in a now deleted post, about who will win the next election. I'm well aware about the new song and why it's being talked about on here haha |

She sold 72k SPS from Friday to Sunday apparently, and she's still doing really well. #13 on Spotify and she just rose to #2 on iTunes, while also gaining a lot on radio. I believe Simon early estimated it to debut at #15 but I see it going higher with these numbers. I know this is a hard prediction, but maybe she can debut Top 3? The fact that Shawn Mendes was able to hit #2 with such a weak song means Katy should be able to pull through. |

I agree, Top 3 might be a bit hard, but with how weak the charts are, NRO can definitely debut in the 5-10 range if it holds up for the rest of the week. It'll land behind OTR, bad guy, Talk and Sucker for sure, but it shouldn't be too hard to steal Ava Max's #10 considering it was #22 in sales and #39 in streaming last week. Edit: Also, just noticed "Press" fell below "Never Really Over" on US Spotify yesterday—a good sign for Katy to grab top debut. I thought Cardi could challenge her but it seems their streams might end up being even. |

Oddly, Youtube seems to be her weakest link right now and that's usually her strongest streaming point. Her Spotify performance has been spectacular and she is sitting comfortably at #10. |
