"Poker Face" outsold "Just Dance" by a few hundred thousand copies, but "Just Dance" had more airplay which made it a bigger hit overall for Gaga.

Poker Face has bigger streaming numbers on Spotify, but Shallow and Million Reasons are of course her biggest hits there due to being newer.

Wow it gained on all 3 metrics on it's 10th week at #1, and without any video release or remix. It's going to break the record

It is wild that the song increased in all 3 metrics. WTF?
We've all known it was going to break the weeks at #1 record barring some huge new release, though. Even if it was declining, there is nothing out right now that would overtake it. But again, some surprise/random hit could come along.

I wonder if Act Up and/or Truth Hurts can sneak into the Top 20 this week.

"OTR" has been losing streams on Spotify for a few weeks now, so its gains are likely still coming from YouTube.

I want βbad guyβ to reach number one sooooooo badly, but I also want OTR to break the record
I donβt think I can have both

"Shut Up About Politics" is John Rich's first solo song to chart since 2009's "Shuttin' Detroit Down".

This Billboard chart system is so ridiculous. We already know after 10 days that Katy wont ever get #1, Billue Eilish wont get #1. So what will knock Old Town Road out of #1? I would say it will be either Drakw, Beiber, Rihanna or a Katy Taylor collab, otherwise Old Time Road will beat the 16 week record.

the problem is looking at it as something βknockingβ it out of number one. Something could come along and do that but the song could also just run out of steam and fall below whatever happens to be next in line.

The song to overtake Old Town Road probably hasn't even been written yet.

It's not a matter of what song or artist has the power to overtake OTR, it's a matter of when OTR will be weak enough to actually be taken over by another song.

Old Town Road, is and remains a streaming monster like nothing that has come out before. It continues to be the top seller and will soon be the top song at radio. The fact that Katy won't ever get #1 means at the time of release, that song did not have the same impact. The same goes for Billie and anyone else that has recently released
