So hello, everyone. Since 2007 is finished, and 2003 is about to happen...someday, how about we do the very, very nostalgic year of 2005? Hosted by a user who you either love or hate, but mostly hate, and the record holder for most FAILED RDs, me. Don't worry, considering my life state at the moment, I give you all my word that I will start this at a specific day, and I will finish the whole thing in say, a week or two. But whatever, IT'S 2005 TIME.



Ah yes, 2005. A very nostalgic year for me, and everyone. Movies like Batman Begins, the King Kong remake, Sin City, Wedding Crashers, 40-Year Old Virgin, Brokeback Mountain, that one movie that beat it for some reason, Shows like The Office and Avatar, and games like Guitar Hero and Mario Kart DS, along with the debut of the Xbox 360. Also sadly, we also got Hurricane Katrina...and Kanye West on that telethon.

My #1 of 2005 is as strong as my #1 was in 2007. In fact, I think the gap between it and the rest of the field is wider than that of "Say It Right" and the field in '07.

I don't think it's that hard to guess, but I'll tell you this: It's not the type of song you may think it is.

Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley - Welcome To Jamrock (Peak: #55)

A pretty kick-ass song. Also, apparently, this is one of the most acclaimed songs of the year.

Kanye West - Diamonds From Sierra Leone (Peak: #43)

Before what could be his most iconic hit this year, he actually had a pretty kick-ass single. Late Registration was pretty much his best album...until 2010.
