SeΓ±orita has been extremely stable on Spotify all week and with its radio gains I see it challenging OTR Still has a LONG way to go until it can challenge OTR and I'd bet on Bad Guy dethroning OTR if I'm gonna place bets on any song currently on the charts doing that. SeΓ±orita is pulling massive Spotify numbers but only a fraction of it's streams are in the US. It still isn't top 5 on Apple Music US and while I expect it's Spotify numbers to be even more next week, it'll soon start dropping in other metrics like iTunes US and Apple Music US. It also pulled in very little views from YouTube US. Those numbers will be even lower next week. It's a massive song globally, but it's nowhere big enough in the US to dethrone OTR. |

Radio also dropped "Despacito" like it was toxic waste. (Helping "Shape of You" overtake it on the year end chart).
And if one considers it more of a meme song, those never have great legs on radio (look at "In My Feelings").

I don't want to see Post debuting at #2 for the third consecutive year, but I don't want OTR to be dethroned soon. Argh... #3 debut and going #1 in late-August/early-September would be great. Also, don't wait until November to release the video.

My excitement for new Post Godlone single lasted about 10 seconds before I realized I had it in my inbox for like half a year. On one hand, I'm really annoyed. On the other hand, I can't blame King of universe for releasing leftovers because pretty much all of his leaked/unreleased tracks sound like hits, so why not cash in on them? Anyhow, the song is fire, so I won't complain too much. But he's definitely getting greedy. The collabo with French & Cardi is also an old song that leaked in 2016.  |
