I haaaate "I'm A Survivor" with a burning passion, easily one of my least fav Reba tunes. When watching her comedy show I'm always scrambling for the remote when the theme comes on thanks to this song lol.
"Streets of Heaven" on the other hand is breathtaking. I've always loved Sherrie tho.

Well this is what I have left so all I can do is guess that my bottom five remaining songs will be the ones that miss the top 20?

Stunned that Reba missed the Top 25, as this song deserves it! Tsk tsk at some of y'all

Too bad Reba didn't make top 25 at least.
And I just want to say that Taylor Swift’s Fearless is still her best album after all these years, with 1989 in second. “Fearless” definitely is one of the lesser songs on that album, but “Fifteen” is the only track I don’t like.

There were much better Reba songs that decade that would've placed higher for me. "I'm a Survivor" isn't bad, but it's not one of her best imo.

The first five seconds of Streets of Heaven is always stuck in my head. "Hello God..." I love "I'm a Survivor" and feel bad for only having it at #20, it was just such a strong list! Really happy with the top 25 but I feel like my #1 is any reveal now, probably next! 😓

Lyrics of Streets of Heaven are really sad but also beautiful. I usually don't play close attention to lyrics when I first listen to the song but this one was different - begining with Hello God already caught my attention, but when the chorus came I was completely captivated. And Sherrié Austin sounds absolutely amazing - her phrasing is perfect.

Well it's officially five o'clock here in Texas which means the weekend has officially started! It also means we're going to unveil the first song to leave the top 25 which sees someone lose their first top 5 while yours truly loses his third top 10.

“Here for the Party” was released as the second single and title track to Gretchen’s debut album. Co-written by Gretchen along with Big & Rich, the song was a Top 5 hit in the summer of 2004 and was certified Gold by the RIAA. This started off strong thanks to my top 10 placement along with Kanenrá:ke ’s top 20 ranking, but it took a deep dive and fell out of the top 30 when bboat11 came in with a bottom 5. It continued to hover outside of the top 30 but slowly began to recover as it started to pick up some more top 20’s. toomuchboy came in with a second bottom 5 ranking but thanks to the support of Cody Wants Out... ’s top 5 it was able to withstand such a hit this time. And while nickd only put this just inside his top 30 it was his final list that helped this to sneak into the top 25.

There is a tie for the next two songs so the tie-breaker went to the song with the most top 10's...but you're going to have to wait until a bit later this evening before I reveal them!

...and this was one of the songs I considered putting as my #1! However, I do know who will NOT be invited to my party if something were to happen some time next year...

"I'm A Survivor" is also not among my favorites from Reba, but it definitely still deserved the top 20 here because middle-tier Reba still shits over the entire careers of so many people...
"Here For The Party" is decent, but tbh all of Gretchen's big hits are so overplayed and have such an obnoxious personality that I can barely listen to them anymore.

I have time to sneak in one more reveal before heading off to a movie! As I had mentioned earlier we have our second tie of the rankdown and since one of them had more top 10's than the other I used that as a tie-breaker. One participant loses a top 5 while at the other end we have a lone bottom 5...

“The First Cut Is the Deepest” was the first single released from Sheryl’s 2003 compilation album The Very Best of Sheryl Crow and became her first top 40 solo country hit. This song was first released in 1967 and has since been covered by a wide range of artists including Rod Stewart. While this had a rough start thanks to Kanenrá:ke placing this just shy of his bottom 5 it quickly rebounded and remained a solid top 30 contender for much of the time...minus the one hiccup from George Strait Junkie ’s lone bottom 5. A string of participants lose a top 15 here and ClevelandRox departs with a second top 5.

"Here for the Party" is my favorite Gretchen Wilson song! I love that I still occasionally hear it on the radio since it's basically the only hit other than "Redneck Woman" (obviously) that they play anymore. The Sheryl Crow song is fantastic, too. I'm glad it came this far, even though it landed a bit higher than where I ranked it. Competition was just tough.

Alright let's unveil the tie-breaking song! Three participants depart with top 10's along with a trio of top 15's and of course there has to be someone to throw this into their bottom 5...

“Break Down Here” was released as the first single from Julie Roberts self-titled debut album in early 2004. The song was originally recorded as “I’d Sure Hate to Break Down Here” by Trace Adkins on his 2003 album Comin’ On Strong. This started off strong and even snuck into the top 10 early on thanks to the support from yours truly along with Kanenrá:ke . It slowly began to fall back into the mid 20’s, though, where it even looked to possibly fall out of the top 30 altogether until it was given some help from d3vin44 ’s top 10 who was also joined by both gardyfan and SHOOTER . Despite a lone bottom 5 from taylor is terrified this was able to manage just enough support to keep it from falling outside of the top 25 and with this being the second tie of the rankdown the three top 10’s it received helped to push this up one spot.

Something about "Break Down Here" was just bland, boring, and forgettable to me. I honestly don't even remember how it goes

I’ve loved Break Down Here every since the first time I heard it but it’s always been a polarizing tune to me so I’m surprised it got this far. Pleasantly surprised though. Julie’s career deserved better!
