And she did get the BNA award, do y'all expect her label not to use her 2 Grammy wins to boost the hype a bit?

Well I never said I supported whatever Travis Scott and the K-Pop group are doing, but I stand by what I said about Dua's "accomplishments".

1. She was already in the game for a handful of years (as was Bebe) when she was nominated for and won BNA. That's why I consider her nomination + win laughable regardless of what the Grammys deem "new".

2. She wouldn't hold the most streamed female album record if she hadn't re-released her debut to be her entire 25 song discography. Nothing about this feels earned or impressive.

Many artists re-release their albums to include a bunch of collabs, remixes and/or one-off singles and still they don't have that tittle of most streamed album by a (insert category here).

You could say that Dua Lipa era is the most streamed female era on Spotify. The most streamed female ALBUM is "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" with 3,7 billion streams.

The BNA rules are laughable and very random (see: not allowing Cardi to be nominated), but it's a case of "hate the game, not the player" imo.

As for whether Billie or Dua holds the "record", both answers are fine by me, considering it's something I have never, and will probably never use in a conversation outside of Pulse.

Regardless if I support Dua (and Calvin) or not more than other artists, I've read that there's a LQ leak out there, so... it's better to be alert about that. That's true and I find it surprising because we are also talking about Warner Records. However, that rumour that she became one of her priority acts (which was before she won the GRAMMYs) seems to be true. That said, I'm glad they aren't throwing the single like that to see how it will perform and decide what to do next if it doesn't do as they initially expect. Also, the track is straight to the A list on BBC Radio 1 this Friday, so they're going harder in the UK, her main market, at the very least.

As a side note, I hope she announces an AMA performance because it will be a very good oportunity to promote the track in the US too.
