He sounds like he’s imitating ZAYN’s vocals which makes this above anything he’s done to date. I like this somewhat.

I don't know that it's really lead single material, but I like it, and I'm happy he's not clearly copying specific classic rock acts again.

I like this. It's not as instant as Sign of the Times was to me, but it's great! I think it speaks to his last album while pointing at a different direction

don't like the song
but video is blah...
I feel he tries too hard to be inclusive of his gay fans or smth... just does not feel genuine to me

This is easily my favorite thing he's done as a solo artist. The choir was not needed at all though. Who asked for some gospel inspo? |

Alright, after several listens I am totally in love with this, very tasty, it still reminds me something else, but he has matched his ambition here. By the way, this should be moved to World Hits at least, this is already sure worldwide hit.

I don’t hear Zayn at all. As if Zayn is distinctive when most of his songs sound like Miguel and The Weeknd’s alt-R&B leftovers.
I really like this, but if it’s the best he’s got... he’s in trouble. Then again, he doesn’t strike me as someone thirsty for a hit. The last album had absolutely nothing for radio except the lead (and even that’s questionable to say). I’m also another one glad he’s not making carbon copies of old rock songs anymore. It came off way too contrived.

I've liked a lot of what they've put out so far as solo artists. It's iteresting to watch how they're each so different yet worked well together. I'm excited to see what else is to come. |
