I'm very confused as to why this isn't charting. From what I'm seeing it wasn't even sent for adds.

Solange released couple of years ago one of the greatest urban/soul hits "Cranes In The Sky" and it barely scraped Urban top 50, because it did not go for adds, so everything radio plays is a business deal not what people want to her. Sure Harry Styles don´t care for sending his songs to radio adds. Those days are long gone when one radio station started to play something great and others followed or when people found somethin new to play on radio. It is frustrating!

Lights Up had a big radio deal in the UK. It was the most played song on BBC Radio 1 the week of release and is still on their A List, while Capital FM has been playing it roughly every two hours. Presumably that's why he is playing the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball in December.
I don't think he really made a lot of effort to break into the US radio market with his first album, which would probably make it even harder this time around. Even if it was sent to radio, there's no guarantee it would have done well, so maybe he/his team decided the return on investment was a gamble, and put promo budget towards areas with a better return, ie Spotify, where it has had prime playlist placements since the day of release.

Yeah, they didn't send this to radio in the US.. given the size of the venues he's performing at on tour here, I don't even think they're all that concerned with how the album does at radio.
