So, Taylor Swift's "Lover", her album-titled song is finally here, with the album released next week.ย
Safe to say, Taylor has a 40% chance to get this one in the bag.

Ahhh this week is going to be so interesting lol. I could see any of the top 4 being #1 this week depending on how the cards are played (Although it looks like Billie/Shawn have already pulled some cards so we'll see how they go haha). Also, as a Taylor fan, I don't think Lover will make the year-end haha. For starters we're not sure it's necessarily a single yet  . For this week though, I could see it debuted decently high, certainly higher than The Archer did. |

^Actually, it will probably still manage to chart in Hot 100 on the week its parent album is released. Other than that, there's nothing guaranteed.

Well, Billie has suddenly decided to care about getting the number one song! โbad guyโ cassettes just dropped.
Honestly, she shouldโve pulled all these stunts last week. โSeรฑoritaโ is primed to overtake her streaming numbers (the โbad guyโ vertical video wonโt be enough) and is already ahead digital sales-wise. Radio is probably the only thing that could save her, and it looks like itโs about to topple (โSeรฑoritaโ is on its heels).

Old Town Road finally collapsing everywhere.
Outside top 10 on Spotify, top 30 on Apple Music, top 25 on radio, and outside top 5 on iTunes. Even on YouTube the lead is evaporated, and its only 300K~ streams above #2.
I wonder if it'll fall 1-3 or possibly 1-4. Definitely doesn't seem like it'll spend over 30 weeks top 10 though.

I can see Taylor debut in top 20, Swae Lee solo song is better than Wont Be late but both might not debut top 40 and also not sure about Normani.

Finally.
In a perfect world "bad guy", "Seรฑorita" and "Truth Hurts" all reach #1, even if it's just a week each. I love all three.
Didn't know about the BG cassettes... not sure the demand could be super high for that but her fanbase is certainly loyal and committed.

Young Thug is currently dominating AM - his new songs are #1-3, #5-8, #10-11, #15, #17-18, #20-23, #26 and #32, in addition to The London at #34 and #49. I think they might perform like Care Package songs on the Hot 100.
I'm also expecting Ransom to be at least top 5 this week on the Hot 100 as the remix with Juice Wrld is #39 on AM along with the original at #9.
And the other new songs on the AM top 40 are 2 Quality Control songs at #29 and #37, Lover by Taylor at #31, and Won't Be Late by Swae Lee/Drake at #36.
