Final sales predictions? I feel like this will be similar to Anti Hero week 3 when we knew sales would be solid but got absolutely gagged by the 300k number. Everyone probably has the same idea to buy this week.

Ruh roh it looks like SZA’s Team is moving, which is ironic because “snooze” is exactly what Taylor’s doing. Side note: if we manage to pull this off, imagine how legendary a Cruel Summer —> Slvt! handoff at #1 would be What is SZA doing?? Her team is smart and chart strategic, I assume they’re waiting to see how the point spread before releasing the bullet in their chamber. Hopefully they realize Snooze can do it next week and letting Taylor have this week… |

Her team finally said “ok we will help”, in the smallest way possible. Which is all we ever wanted!!! I've said before, we didn't need the full gamut of everything-at-the-wall dramatic overkill Taylor's become known for. All we ever needed was just a finger on the scale when it's been constantly so close to tipping for her. Zero complaints from me, in full agreement with you. I just find the small nod (so to speak) whimsical. At this stage. With so many missed chances. However, 4-5 weeks ago, I wouldn’t have been mad at some remixes. Meh. I still wouldn’t be mad if we got remixes tbh. But I’ve moved on. |

Much like fetch, this is never going to happen. <"Cruel Summer"> will sit pretty with "Getaway Car", "All Too Well" and "I Know Places" in the non-single gems category.  What an exciting time to be alive. Finally something good to emerge from social media - great music always gets its day in the sun, even if it takes a few years longer than expected. |

Fucking Finally 😭 I wonder if this was all planned or if they scrounged it together this weekend when they realized how close it was. I’m annoyed it didn’t happen sooner but at least we can secure the #1 now. Wonder why they didn’t do it on Thursday so some of the sales would spill over to next week. Maybe MV on Friday to secure a second week, or 1989 (TV) single Friday so she can have back to back #1s. This is so exciting nonetheless!
Both remix and live versions are $.69 cents… I’m saving my downloads until Friday when they will apply to next week. I want two weeks at #1 😭
