Album trailer: (via Rolling Stone)Kesha said the following about High Road in this statement to Rolling Stone. "I feel like this time around I reconnected to the unrestrained joy and wildness that's always been a part of me — and in this process I have had the most fun I've ever had making a record. I hope my fans love it as much as I loved making it — and know I always have y'all in mind. On the last record, I feel like I had to address some very serious things, and now this time around I have reclaimed my love of life. To quote one of my favorite songs of all time I've decided to 'fight for my right to party!' On my own terms. I won't be defined by my past, but I will learn from it. I am so happy, and I hope that happiness is infectious."

It's not my favorite Kesha ever; BUT, good Kesha is still better than 90% of all other music ever created.

Love it. Catchy and sounds very current. Good timing - there's a Lizzo kinda vibe to it which I think will work well for her. TEN times more interesting and catchy than what the pop landscape has delivered in 2019. This is better than all three of Taylor Swift's last singles put together. Video is equally great. Would love to see this go #1...and I'm not even an Animal.

Bitch just did that. I have this on repeat. She really did. I felt like such a badass driving to work! So many quotes. It’s the perfect marriage between her earlier sound, lyrics, and attitude and the sounds on Rainbow! Also, she looks incredible. I’m so happy for Kesha! Also, did anyone notice one of the songs on her album features Ke$ha? OMG it’s gonna be a banger!

This is so stupid. You are telling me she couldn’t release this a month earlier and cash in on Christmas?!?

She released her debut in January. If RH takes off and does well, it could turn out a good start for High Road.

Can she perform all her old hits? Is she allowed legally?

Can she perform all her old hits? Is she allowed legally? Yes - she’s never stopped performing her Luke produced music, although she does often switch up the live arrangement so it’s more organic sounding than the originally produced track.
