Hollywood's Bleeding (17 songs) VS. Beerbongs & Bentleys (18 songs) #1 Circles - 3 441 328 streams // #1 Paranoid - 3 694 438 streams #17 I Know - 1 456 170 streams // #19 (Nice For What was at #13) Jonestown (Interlude) - 1 617 747 streams Yeah, Hollywood's Bleeding is performing worse than B&B but still, it has great first-day numbers. Apple Music streams also say a lot - the lowest-charting HB song is Wow. and it's #22, still rising.

Great numbers for Post Malone on spotify. This is globally but I think Circles is the first Post Malone song to hit 7 million streams globally since Rockstar. These are the spotify numbers for songs over 3 million streams: Circles: 3,441,328 Saint-Tropez: 3,330,184 Enemies: 3,198,197 Hollywood's Bleeding: 3,027,413 Insane numbers, it seems like Sunflower is locked at this point to return to the top 10, along with certainly Goodbyes and Circles. Of the album tracks it seems one of Saint Tropez, Enemies and Take What You Want are most likely to also debut in the top 10 but we will have to see how they hold up throughout the week. What’s “insane” about those numbers exactly? Didn’t B&B perform vastly better? 🤔 Even Lil’ Wayne’s last album drew in higher first day streams without any previous accompanying hits. Well, this new album might have pulled in less streams than his last album, but what'll matter most is how well the album holds throughout the tracking week. If it holds better than his last album did, these first day numbers won't matter. If it falls harder, it will.

He should own the entire top 20/21 on Apple Music by the end of the day or maybe even sooner than that, no problem. The discussion has always been how well the songs will hold throughout the tracking week. It's also worth it to note that for some reason, beerbongs and bentleys was delayed being released on Apple Music by a few hours. Likewise, Scorpion was also delayed being released on Spotify by over 8 hours. Weird.

“B&B” scored +430M streams in its first week in the U.S. I predict “HL” to garner first week streams between +390-410M streams in the U.S. Extremely respectable numbers, commercially, even though the album is worst than B&B. I expect the album to slay longevity though... What do you think thegreatdivine?

I think it's usually the fault of the label, I don't know. Happens sometimes with singles that get delayed by an hour or two. Happened with Chance the Rapper's album, too. It was delayed by like 10-12 hours, although in his case, he's unsigned, so I think it was the fault of whoever was meant to upload the album on DSPs or maybe he himself delayed it to put in some final touches, who knows?

It's performing way better on Apple Music than b&b did in it's first two days, even though b&b did slightly better on Spotify in it's first day. It all depends on how well it holds during the tracking week. If it holds as well or better than b&b did then 450+M US streams is a possibility, if not, then I can see it doing the numbers you predicted.

Tbf Beerbongs and Bentleys was MUCH more anticipated and had more promo and build up. B&B had one of the biggest songs of all time as the lead single and Psycho in the top 3 and his first album in years.

The timing of these album bombs is gonna do really weird things to the charts. Thug wiped off all of the songs in danger of recurrency, and taylor had none left to knock off - but 2 weeks later and there's a good chance a few of them would go recurrent naturally, but now we have post to knock all of that and even more off at once - dare I say it could stretch as high as Pop Out. 9/28 is going to be a very strange week because of all of this.

Sunflower is a massive record. So is Wow. Goodbyes and Cirlces are also nowhere near done doing their damage and now you've got records like Enemies, Staring at the Sun and a whole bunch of potential hits available to stream. Post will be more than okay.

But regardless, Post is gonna rule the charts until Adele drops anyway 🤷🏾♂️

Its just that much more albums from big rappers, who usually do way better on streaming, were released last year. Not really an excuse for Post #s to be down.

It's pretty hard to use Spotify as a gauge for how well the album is streaming compared to BB&B, because I assume a lot of the lost streams on there were made up for on AM.

Post's albums tend to do really well on streaming so I imagine that this one will, too. Even if it does lesser numbers than b&b did in it's first week, it'll more than make up for it in the following weeks. Post Malone is all about consistency. This album will be at 5-6 billion streams on Spotify by this time next year, so it's all good.

I want circles to debut at number 4 so every respectable number single released to date would be coincidental with their peak position (sunflower being the first single peaking at #1, wow #2, goodbyes #3) we could have this coincidence for at least a week until circles obviously moves up

I'm not sure if any of Post Malone's songs debut in top ten. He'll have three songs there though. He will most likely push himself out and Enemies or Take What You Want debuts at #11/12, just like Paranoid when B&B was released. When Ariana released Thank U Next, Needy reached #14 and NASA #17.

I don't see Goodbyes being #1 this week. It would need better streaming than its currently doing. Probably 3 or 4.

I want "Take What You Want" to go to the top 10 so that Ozzy Osbourne can get his second top 10 of his career. It would be so cool if he can get another one. His only one was a feature in 1989 with Lita Ford called "Close My Eyes Forever".
