Really excited for the new Post, Cardi song! What does French Montana actually do? Surely he isn't considered a rapper and more of a Dj Khaled type of artist(?). Also I think No Guidance definitely has the potential to break Needed Me's record. I find it quite impressive for any song that didn't go top 5 to stay over 10 weeks in the top ten. Also what I find impressive about Needed me's chart run is that it never got to #6. And perhaps even more impressive it was #13 on the year end chart for 2016 for a song that "only" peaked at #7. Personally, I'm just surprised that I didn't notice how big of an era Anti was for Rihanna. Probably because Drake dropped Views and One Dance happened, but I saw that Love on the Brain just surpassed 500 million Spotify streams. It also peaked in the top 5 and is certified 3x Platinum. Needed Me spent 16 weeks in the top 10 and is certified 5x Platinum. Work spent 9 weeks at #1 and is certified 6x Platinum. Even Kiss It Better, which didn't peak as high as any of those other songs, was a moderate success and had a Platinum certification. Her next era should do really well. I just hope she picks and pushes the right singles.

So does Lil Uzi Vert's "XO Tour Lilif3" a year later. But "Needed Me" on the Top 10 16 weeks despite peaking #7 is an impressive accomplishment of its own.

Radio Songs (Hot 100 Airplay) Artists of the 2010’s.
1) Rihanna
2) Bruno Mars
3) Maroon 5
This is the undoubted top three, in that order.
Katy Perry/Taylor Swift/Adele round out the top five I believe.

So there’s no front runner yet for the next Hot 100 #1? It seems Lizzo will have it on lock for a few more weeks at least. I thought “Circles” would’ve been the song to kick it out but now I’m not so sure. Maybe “Panini” if Lil Nas X has anymore tricks up his sleeve. But airplay for that is still really low so he might want to wait a few weeks to maximize the point totals if he’s dropping another remix.
Or the next #1 might be a big lead single from a big artist like Adele or Rihanna.

What a tragic discography. He must have cursed Drake: 3 duets and none of them has gone even top 30. No one else can say that I think. Well, in defense of the Drake stimulus package, two of those songs were pretty terrible. The one song that was great, Pop That, peaked the highest.

At least French Montana got the full benefit from Swae Lee's though.

It's a shame about the other guy on them. Compared to Pop That, No Shopping and No Stylist are just okay. Drake's an infinitely better rapper/artist than French Montana so it'll always be evident that they're worlds apart as far as talent and skill goes when they're on songs together. Pop That was a moment, though. Everyone killed their verse and it had a dope video to go along with it.

To reap the full benefits of the Drake stimulus package: 1. Let him take the reins on the song. 2. Let him start the song off. Give him the first verse and the hook before you come in. 3. Let it a be a great beat he can work with. 4. Mix and master your song really well. 5. If you're lucky, most of his fans like his parts in the song enough to really support it. He's given tons of artists their biggest hits and he's proven countless times that he can give anyone a hit, even a random nobody.

So, apparently, the French Montana, Cardi B and Post Malone song is a pop hit and French Montana might have a music video ready to go.

Apparently it's been in the works for about four months based on the videos I've seen on it. I'm curious to see how the song turns out, even if my usual expectations with French Montana are rather low.

The M5 track is probably gonna do close to "Wait" rather than "Girls Like You". Unless there's some sort of viral video coming.

He can just drop a million more remixes like with "Old Town Road", cause that apparently works.

Trampoline being top 40 despite being below the top 500 on AM and below the top 200 on Spotify is pretty evident of how far good radio can get you. What's the last hit to be so lopsided in one format?

Weird how Ariana seems to be doing much better as a solo artist. Maybe it's because people right off a collab as less of a major release. It made sense with social house since they were pretty much unknown before boyfriend came out, but then don't call me angel debuts at #13 then collapses, less than 8 months after 7 rings debuted at #1.

Is Taylor Swift Lover still getting any radio support or is it done there? I love the song but it doesn't seem like a great choice of single that would get a lot of airplay
