Probably gonna be another album about money and girls. Why change what has worked for like 4 albums in a row now. Remember the kid thing wasn't even suppossed to come out but Kanye had to Kanye...Huh? He was gonna announce it when Scorpion dropped It's been widely speculated that Kanye (and Pusha) derailed the whole plan around any announcements. As recently as this month Taylor Swift herself mentioned it on a Rolling Stone interview (where she used it as an example of why Kanye is a toxic individual). Whether that plan included talking about it on Scorpion originally, or if the references were added after the tea was spilled we'll probably never know.

oh wow, they did a complete overhaul of the H100 and B200 chart layouts. Don't know if I like it While I do like that you can see all the usual metrics that I would like to see visible at a glance, it isn't obvious that when you click a song a dropdown will appear to mostly reveal the same information. I dislike that they don't have the stars for the biggest gainers nor the icon to indicate that a song has gained points during the week. The top menu with the chart menu options is available for those two charts. Except for the first detail, I don't think it is an improvement in layout. :|

Someone You Loved is quite middling. I find it hard to believe that some people love it to pieces, but I also don't understand the hate.

Most weeks top 10 for songs that peaked outside top 5:
Rihanna - Needed Me (16 weeks, #7 peak) Kelly Clarkson - Behind these Hazel Eyes (15 weeks, #6 peak) Maroon 5 & Kendrick Lamar - Don't Wanna Know (14 weeks, #6 peak) Lorde - Team (14 weeks, #6 peak) Chris Brown & Drake - No Guidance (13 weeks, #6 peak) Philip Philips - Home (13 weeks, #6 peak)
Will it get the record? It's predicted #7 next week....

Interesting that โNeeded Meโ is the lowest peaking song with the most number of weeks.

Had to actually look up what Needed Me was cause I had no recollection of it, then remembered it was the video Rihanna was topless in lol. Still surprised Youtube allowed it.

Itโs been โrestrictedโ since its release hence why it barely has 300M views after +3 years. โBBHMMโ is in the same boat!

I don't know why people don't like the new layout. The only thing I see that's wrong with it is that you can't see whether or not a song gained in performance. Other than that, you can see stats that you would normally have to click on. I like this better.

I'm hoping in Drake's next era he tackles the thorny issues of co-parenting and being a single father while simultaneously maintaining he has five or six more years of being free. Drake making an album about parenting requires him to actually be in his son's life first This is a very silly statement to make, considering the fact that you have no idea how active he is in his son's life.

A Rolling Stone interview came out shortly after Scorpion dropped where close Kanye associates who also heard a early version of Scorpion when Drake went to Wyoming at Kanye's request, confirmed that March 14 already existed by then. March 14 was titled March 14 because it was the day Drake recorded the song. He admits as much on the song. www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/drakes-march-14-and-pusha-ts-the-story-of-adidon-a-complicated-relationship-696198/Songs like Emotionless, 8 Out of 10, In My Feelings and Mob Ties were all recording after his diss battle with Pusha went down, but March 14 existed since before all of that.

I do not think that the people who find Someone You Loved rather irritating are necessarily Ariana stans. I don't think it's the worst thing ever but it's a 4/10 or so in my book. Still, people have different tastes and sometimes music will move some people and not move others. I find the vocals of Lewis Capaldi rather irritating, but the song wouldn't be in the top 5 and have been a massive success in the UK if it didn't have a lot of fans.

I like the new BB layout. They do make it less intuitive to find a song's gain status (you have to click on a song to expand that row; if it has gained in any metric there will be an 'awards' tab that you have to click to see it). But that is still there, and they put all the top gainers and debut songs at the very top of the page for easy viewing. They also made the peak/weeks on the chart columns sortable so you can see what the oldest song on the current chart is, or how many previous #1s are still on, at a quick glance. Overall I think it's a much cleaner chart. Still wish they had come up with a better solution than taking all the other charts away though. My first thought is that the song's hit potential is almost immediately doomed by French Montana being the lead artist on the song. I'd be more intrigued if it was just Cardi and Post. French's Mustard is not the star here, but I'll be polite and reserve full judgment until I hear it.

I'm gonna take a guess and say the French x Post x Cardi song flops. Post's features never do well and Cardi has been having a rough year.

Really excited for the new Post, Cardi song! What does French Montana actually do? Surely he isn't considered a rapper and more of a Dj Khaled type of artist(?).
Also I think No Guidance definitely has the potential to break Needed Me's record. I find it quite impressive for any song that didn't go top 5 to stay over 10 weeks in the top ten. Also what I find impressive about Needed me's chart run is that it never got to #6. And perhaps even more impressive it was #13 on the year end chart for 2016 for a song that "only" peaked at #7.

Really excited for the new Post, Cardi song! What does French Montana actually do? Surely he isn't considered a rapper and more of a Dj Khaled type of artist(?). Not sure if you're being serious, but he very much is a rapper, as unlike Khaled, he actually contributes verses. The thing is though, almost every single one of his chart entries, featured other artists: As a lead: #36 - Pop That (ft. Rick Ross, Drake & Lil Wayne) #77 - Freaks (ft. Nicki Minaj) #63 - Ain't Worried About Nothin' #95 - Bad Bitch (ft. Jeremih) #73 - Lockjaw (ft. Kodak Black) #36 - No Shopping (ft. Drake) #3 - Unforgettable (ft. Swae Lee) #75 - A Lie (ft. The Weeknd & Max B) #84 - Welcome to the Party (with Diplo, Lil Pump & Zhavia Ward) #47 - No Stylist (ft. Drake) #90 - Slide (ft. Blueface & Lil Tjay) Notably, he has a second Top 10, but that's a song with Chris Brown with the lead credit called "Loyal". So he isn't too relevant on his own. So, he is like Khaled, that he relies almost entirely on who else is on the song. But he doesn't just shout his name like Khaled does.
