^Yeah, it is true. I'm not sure whether that person on Twitter was referring to the same show but he said it on the Star and Buckwild morning show on Hot 97 FM back in the day. He said he "did it" when asked whether he f*cked Britney. There's an article of it, too.

Isn’t that Star and Buckwild garbage show the same one that made fun of Aaliyah’s death with a whole parody song about it? That’s why that video didn’t surprise me. Back then NY radio was ruthless and every guest knew what they were getting into.
I don’t wanna hear anymore, “But that was over two decades ago, Justin was young; he’s a changed man!” The leopard never changed its spots as the years followed, and just recently he had to issue a public apology to his wife for “inappropriate behavior” with a co-star. Sorry he got caught because of paparazzi, I guess. Then there’s the whole using homeless people as bait for his wedding gag.
He’s been Teflon for so long. Lucky for him he was able to carve out a legacy without corporate disruption, unlike a Black woman who carried all the blame for something he willingly participated in. Even still, I think his multi-privilege will guarantee some kind of parachute and safety net.
His reputation has been harmed, but I’ll believe it when I see it that he won’t weasel his way back into the good graces and will of the people. All it takes is an *NSYNC tour announcement. A solo studio album would probably tank. His best foot forward is to run back to his nostalgic beginnings.

A list of criminal indictments against J. Timberlake:
1. Aged like milk
2. Threw Janet under the bus
3. Built a career off slut-shaming Britney
4. Released Man of the Woods
5. Serves small-dick energy

I wonder if getting Nsync back for a one off song was his way to get some good nostalgic PR? He knew the book was coming.

Hold up, is this stuff common knowledge and I've been stuck in the past or what?! I’m not sure. I did just see this where he doesn’t. But there’s the clip of him in the Diane Sawyer interview saying something like - ok, I did it. (Slept w Britney) x.com/drinkuaway/status/1714338955376709723I remember him confirming it on the radio for more spins sayin "ok I did it." On Diane Sawyer, she asked if they kept the promise to not sleep together and he answered, "sure." No one is going to care about his next album. But I don't think many cared about his last album.

From the book he definitely seems to be very calculating, to say the least. It's kind of crazy even now how he's successfully shifted the narrative around Britney. Even today after all Britney has gone through, she is still called a "slut", which is interesting considering how allegedly he cheated before she did and how he has had rumors recently that he cheated on his current wife. His revenge tracks, combined with his revenge porn like music videos for CMAR and WGACA really spun a spell on the public.

His revenge tracks, combined with his revenge porn like music videos for CMAR and WGACA really spun a spell on the public. It is interesting to see how Justin is treated very differently from the other women in his life. So, there have been cheating rumors about him from basically his first days in Nsync with Britney through his current wife, of which cheating rumors have plagued the relationship, including some public photos and other celebrities seeing him with other women, basically like it is an open secret. Yet, I am not sure I have ever seen him called a gross slut, while Britney has been called that basically from the beginning or even what happened with Janet, where you see a similar dynamic. So, she gets thrown to the wolves while he walks away pristine. Will this finally damage his image or is the rumored new baby with his wife and Nsync hype going to completely cover him from having any backlash again? lol.

His image has been damaged and in the toilet for years. For Britney, for Janet, his alleged infidelity with Jessica, even got hit with some antivaxx stuff, etc. It all hit the fan post metoo when he did the Superbowl and MOTW flopped. And then when Framing Britney Spears came out, the backlash got so bad on social media he had to issue a public apology. And then it all cycled again when the Janet docuseries came out. So while this is dragging his name through the headlines again, he's been damaged goods for a long time. In this social media age where the past is constantly being revisited (and a lot of times revisioned, lol), he was never going to make it out unscathed.

He had a Britney look-a-like in the video. He admitted to sleeping with her. He sings a song called "Horrible Woman." All these things brought attention to his relationship with Britney so more questions were asked. He played the victim so well.

I see your point, but, to me, the general public opinion of him has never matched social media opinions of him and he has never had near the same backlash as others have had. Like, when I think about what Britney, Christina, even Lady Gaga or other pop stars have gone through compared to him... Like, most people I know in real life are just neutral on him or even neutral positive. I have seen same dynamic in other places. Like, on social media, I still see a lot of support for Amber Heard, but IRL all I hear is about how she is a whore bitch that tried to ruin "the greatest actor of our time." People also seem cruel to Britney herself still, except when I am here or on social media or on ONTD lol. Which, it may just be that I am in a conservative area that is pretty much ready to rip women down no matter what while men get passes while that isn't necessarily true in the world as a whole.

This era is bound to be interesting, I can’t wait for his interviews (assuming he goes that route). As long as the music is good I will listen.

KING!? lol
This is going to be interesting to watch. MOTW was a wreck, but it had a handful of good tunes on it. That's pretty much what I expect from this as well.

I was just reflecting yesterday on how thoroughly MOTW derailed his career. I’m surprised he’s plowing ahead so quickly after the Britney expose, but I’m not sure that he’d be any better-positioned if he waited for another year.

When was the name of the album announced? Nothing comes up when I Google the title except for What Goes Around Comes Around.

the first track on album is called Memphis Of course it is 😂 He’s SO unoriginal to me - but vanilla ice cream is the most popular for a reason.

I’m surprised he’s plowing ahead so quickly after the Britney expose, but I’m not sure that he’d be any better-positioned if he waited for another year. It's been six years since Man of The Woods. A 7th year would have been disastrous, considering MOTW didn't hit nearly as hard as FS/LS, which would have been an equal break between that and The 20/20 Experience. The chart is weak enough now that this is the best time for him to strike before Ariana ends up accumulating enough points for her to rein for multiple weeks. The Memphis track gets a groan, because he had an album track named Montana on his last disc that was also a bit snooze worthy.

track #2: Fucking Up the Disco Whoa. Edgy. I’m kidding (kinda). The title alone has the potential to be a career song for him. ….and it looks like he’s doing the music-film route! He trademarked “Everything I Thought It Was ... A Sonic film." I’m interested now. I’ll bite.
