What was the last pop girl to be so ubiquitous with performances and constant advertising for singles? I don’t feel like Ariana really did this. I’m thinking Taylor for 1989?
Dua has some serious work ethic for sure.

Well Problem was performed literally everywhere... But she never did that again with another single.

Ari I'm pretty sure debuted Problem at the Radio Disney Music Awards before even officially releasing it.
She performed the hell out of it

Loving the new workout vid! It's going stable on UK Singles Chart but i'm hoping for it to takeoff once DSN is over/before they move on to BMH.

Discounted on iTunes in the UK. Along with the workout video it looks like they might be going for the top ten push this week.

It looks like Don’t Start Now is starting to peak here in the US as well especially with the recent spin losses at Pop so I think we could see a push actually happen soon!

I need the mix from that workout video released to Spotify STAT. Repeating that final chorus but breaking down the production like it did sent a chill down my spine! :o I love that extended version with the additional production in the intro and of course the ending. The workout video is excellent. It’s iconic and campy in all the right ways.

Cancel her for not releasing the workout video as the real video but smart of her team to release it so soon. As great as that first video was, this workout one is video of the decade material and by the time the song peaks, people will think the workout video is the official anyway. I am in AWE. She leaves me no choice but to stan.

Love that new video, she's really trying to convey her personality to the GP which is a smart move The vids hot, cute and cool at the same time, unsure why they made it but not complaining Hopefully the song's getting a boost from this

I live for that workout video (Dee could GET IT). Also, I love that extended mix of the song, is that available anywhere?

I love this song more the more I hear it. I wasn’t initially planning on listening to the album but now I think I’m gonna need to

I’m not convinced they will send this as a single. The label might want to push a new single worldwide all at once. Obviously this was meant to be one, but DSN has just held on.
The label needs to evaluate if a worldwide rollout of a new single before the album drops, with radio and promo, will have a stronger effect on pushing album sales / interest in Dua’s tour vs. this song that has been out for over a month now with no adds date.
Tough situation. This song is brilliant.

I sadly agree... they can always send this to radio as the final single later on (like how most of the singles from her previous album were released at different dates on several markets).

I want to see this song get a radio push soooooo bad, but yeah it'd probably be smart at this point to go for a global push for a new single. Hadn't even thought about this scenario before now.

I’m not convinced they will send this as a single. The label might want to push a new single worldwide all at once. Obviously this was meant to be one, but DSN has just held on. I still think that "Physical" will be the chosen one in the US and "Break My Heart" will be the next EU/OZ single. It seems that there's promotion behind "Physical" for the next weeks and/or closer to the album release, which I doubt it will be only focused internationally, and there's already support of some radio stations, so Warner could go with the former. However, there's the (sort of) "Maneater" / "Say It Right" scenario, which is also a possibility at this point, so let's see what happens in the next weeks when an impact date for the next US single is announced. The label needs to evaluate if a worldwide rollout of a new single before the album drops, with radio and promo, will have a stronger effect on pushing album sales / interest in Dua’s tour vs. this song that has been out for over a month now with no adds date. Coincidentally, as a premise, her team has been twice in this situation (without the 'before the album drops' connotation of course) before. 1. "Hotter Than Hell" / "Blow Your Mind (Mwah)" [2016]: "Hotter Than Hell" was meant to be her lead US single and promotion began with her US TV debut performance of the song at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon early August, but plans were changed because Dua was going to release "Blow Your Mind (Mwah)" later than month, so the label thought it was better to push a WW single instead. 2. "Be The One" / "Lost In Your Light" [2017]: After "Blow Your Mind (Mwah)" peaked in the US around January of 2017, there were rumours which song was going to be picked as her second single there. "Be The One" was re-released in the UK on December of last year and it was already announced that she had a new single to be out soon (later to be revealed that it was "Lost In Your Light") in February of 2017. However, instead of pushing her upcoming single in the US, the former was chosen early that month and the impact date was slated to be six weeks later (03/21/17).

Yeah, the hype for this song was unfortunately stolen by the longevity of "Don't Start Now". I think it's wise for them to move on to a new song at this point and make that a legit global smash.

Predicted to reach #8 in the UK this week, however this doesn't include streaming data. Though Physical seems to doing better then ever in that department this week so the stars may be aligning for another UK top ten for Dua.
