Well God’s Plan isn’t a holiday song. Maybe if it was called Santa’s Plan it would be. “Good things, it’s a lot of good things I’ve been wishin and wishin and wishin” I only love my milk and my cookies, I'm sorry....

"Santa Tell Me" plays in an ad here in the UK and I heard it at uni today. Didn't realize that song was actually a thing.

AIWFCIY possibly going to #1 is what makes watching the charts fun for me. I hope it does. If it does it has to be one of the weirdest chart feats.

I see a not-so-distant future where paid streams are the strongest component. More value is being placed on the listener’s choice rather than sheer audience size like traditional radio.

Props to Tones & I for vaulting 19-11. Hoping it gets bigger, tho I don’t expect it to hit number one like it is in other countries.
If that rumor about a second GAH video is true, Lizzo needs to strike while the iron is hot. AIWFCIY and Roxanne aren’t playing games

Maroon 5 Scores Record-Extending Adult Pop Songs No. 1 With 'Memories' 12/2/2019 by Gary Trustwww.billboard.com/articles/business/chart-beat/8545104/maroon-5-memories-no-1-adult-pop-songs-chartThe song is the band's 14th leader on the list. Maroon 5 extends its mark for the most No. 1s on Billboard's Adult Pop Songs radio airplay chart, as "Memories" takes over atop the Dec. 7-dated tally. The track is Maroon 5's 14th Adult Pop Songs No. 1, pushing the band further ahead of runner-up P!nk, who has earned 10 toppers. Maroon 5 last led the list with "Girls Like You," which began a personal-best 14-week reign in August 2018. The song bested the twin 13-week rules of the group's first two No. 1s: "This Love" and "She Will Be Loved," in 2004. Here's an updated look at the acts with the most Adult Pop Songs No. 1s: 14, Maroon 5 10, P!nk 8, Katy Perry 7, Taylor Swift 6, Shawn Mendes 5, Adele 5, Nickelback 5, Ed Sheeran The Adult Pop Songs chart began in Billboard's pages in March 1996 and ranks titles by weekly plays on a panel of 83 adult top 40 stations. All charts will update tomorrow (Dec. 3) on Billboard.com.

Which “Hate Me” is at 84?
Also props to Dua Lipa for rising every week after the initial fall!

I wonder how Billboard will treat holiday songs on their all-time charts. After another 10-15 years, several of them could accumulate enough weeks to really dent the all-time charts.

I could see Some Things Never Change and All Is Found chart eventually. The Next Right Thing and When I Am Older probably not.

I'm not complaining we have more Doja Cat on the charts but why did TikTok choose to make Candy their new favorite song instead of Rules or Go to Town?

I'm okay with Idina/AURORA's "Into The Unknown" to be higher with Brendon's.

So Heartless #32... LYTLM debuted at #15 and soared to #1. Heartless got a way worse start but #32-1 is still possible. Shame that we have no idea about the true streaming numbers for this 12/14 week yet.

I wonder how Billboard will treat holiday songs on their all-time charts. After another 10-15 years, several of them could accumulate enough weeks to really dent the all-time charts. Someone wrote on here a couple of weeks ago that once a holiday song reaches #1 on any given year, after that it shouldn't be able to chart again in following years. I think this a great idea, however it doesn't stop a song from reaching the top 3 every year for the next 10/15 years. TBH I believe they won't ever rule out holiday songs charting.

Shame that we have no idea about the true streaming numbers for this 12/14 week yet. Heartless is #44 on radio 6 days in. I think it has a very good chance of bounding to the top 5 next week

and Blinding Lights's numbers aren't half bad either. Consistent 3rd on Spotify and doing well on itunes. It'll probably debut around 15 like LYTLM since it's not being pushed to radio as much
