Roxanne's week-on-week numbers on Spotify are already in decline, it needs a remix or a viral video to become a big hit. It will definitely get a remix though, the question is when and how much it will affect.

Well, Starboy was at least a popular song so it's little surprise that Abel would want to cash in on that era's lingering popularity. If you're going to ape someone else's music you can do far worse than Prince. I read of a rapper who looked at Y2K (of LaLaLa fame) as an influence, so it can always be worse. |

I'm pretty sure "Behind Barz" was just released as a promotional single from the 'Top Boy''s soundtrack. I don't understand why y'all are arguing about Drake in a break era akin to 'More Life'. Yes Drake is charting more with his features this year but that's because he's not actively promoting a studio album. Just leave the argument at that for now, both sides have made their points. |

I only said what I said about Starboy because you said it sounded like Starboy on steroids. This sounds different to me. The Weeknd has been working with the best pop producers since his BBTM era so he'll always come through on the production end of things. From this snippet, though, the song isn't for me. Sounds like something from a Tron movie. Super duper futuristic. It's an amazing beat, I just don't know if I'll like it. I'll wait till the actual single drops to decide and I really hope I like it because I like the Weeknd music. Also, that Instagram page said it *might drop on the 29th, not that it definitely would, so don't expect anything. |

^Too soon to tell anything. Justin Bieber also reportedly plans to have new music out before year's end. Nothing should be taken for granted in terms of how it will perform, though, or thought of as a shoo-in.

"Into the Unknown" looks to be No. 1 on iTunes with its two versions combined (I know, digital sales not so super), so with streaming, it may debut on this chart.

Both Circles and SYL are bleeding points but the next close contenders are nowhere near to pass them.

I do wonder if a good AMA performance could push someone else over the top, but IDK who. Shallow got 200 extra points from the Oscars, but I doubt an AMA bump would be that big. |
