Taylor just had a big night! Could “Lover” get a really big boost? Prob not to #1 but hopefully pretty high. Well, it seems several songs will get a boost after being performed. I would think Circles would remain at #1, Señorita and Lose You to Love Me rebound within the top 10, Lover return the top 10, only Human enter the top 15, Take What You Want and Don't Start Now return to the top 40 and Graveyard entering it Let's not go overboard here.

The AMAs just wrapped up on the east coast. Below is a table to keep track of the performance of the songs looking to see an increase from it. All stats are from right before the show aired. Songs in black with the gray background were performed. Song in orange with the gray background were televised winners. Songs in blue with the orange background were used in commercials that aired during the AMAs. Now it's been 3.5 hours since the show started so the earlier performed/awarded tracks are already on the climb on iTunes. (Theoretically also on Apple Music, but the chart isn't updating for me.) Lose You to Love Me [#3/132] Look at Her Now [#126/350] Melanin [#121] Jerome [#287/677] Look What God Gave Her [#47] Señorita [#11/171/453] Raising Hell [#33/233] TiK ToK [#202] Un-Break My Heart [#151/775] all the good girls go to hell [#67] Graveyard [#21/513/1258] Father of All... [#740] Basket Case [#213] Living Proof [#109] Only Human [#12] The Man [#1461] Love Story [#758] I Knew You Were Trouble. [#384] Blank Space [#300] Shake It Off [#203] Lover [#17/23] Fall on Me [#8] Circles [#4/117] Take What You Want [#25/501] Don't Start Now [#38] rockstar [#215] Stressed Out [#979] God's Plan [#1477] You're Still the One [x] Any Man of Mine [x] That Don't Impress Me Much [x] Man! I Feel like a Woman! [x] Without Me [#129/617] Old Town Road [#27/394] Speechless [#70] Cuz I Love You [#1354] The Rainbow Connection [#1257] Shine [x] Beautiful Ghosts [#348] Rise Up [#243] Come Together [#168/22] (Aerosmith's cover now appears at #1381) Ride or Die [#1090] I'll post another update tomorrow evening roughly 24 hours after the show aired and again the day after so we can really see the effect on Spotify too since it's a day delayed.

It's not on the charts yet, not even bubbling under yet I think, but I expect Hit Yo Dance by Rubi Rose to hit the charts sometime soon. It should get attention for featuring NLE Choppa and it's chorus is basically created for TikTok challenges - I mean it goes "B*tch hit yo dance!" It that wasn't made with the hope of having some sort of dance challenge to go along with it, I don't know why they even recorded it.

When was Bieber's last big hit? The #2 peaking hit from May that's still in the top 25? Eh, it's a collaboration and while it has lasted, wasn't something to make people think he's guaranteed a huge hit. I'm The One was his last #1 *Extremely bad cough Despacito *This is seriously a bad cough Those are both features/collaborations. Let me clarify; when did Bieber last have a big hit that was for his own project?

jenglisbe’Love Yourself’ is the last hit single that Bieber has had from his own solo project circa. Winter/Spring 2016. Since there’s, he’s featured on multiple top 10 collaborations: • Cold Water • Let Me Love You • I’m The One • Despacito • Friends • 2 U • I Don’t Care • 10K Hours All of which are COMPLETELY forgotten except ‘Despacito’ and ’I’m The One’. (’IDC‘ & 10KH’ are too new but they’ll be forgotten soon also).

If Adele doesn't drop this year (I think she will drop on Friday), she would drop next year. I can see Kendrick releasing a proper album next year.

2020 should be a packed year:
Adele Rihanna Drake Justin Bieber Kendrick Lamar The Weeknd Lady Gaga J. Cole Wouldn't be surprised if Billie Eilish and Travis Scott release projects next year too.

Lady Gaga, Adele and Rihanna have been rumored for ages now. I wouldn't count on 2020 either.
Billie is recording.
Taylor is still rumored to have a project almost ready to drop...

So many rumored releases, but J. Cole is the only one who has formally announced his album for 2020.

Music video was shot for "Blinding Lights" last night, here's hoping that they'll give this the full push on Friday.

Surprisingly, Posty looks to be the big winner of the AMA's - Circles and TWYW are into the top 3 on Itunes. Circles definitely has #1 on lock for this week. All The Good Girls, Lose You To Love Me, Graveyard, Only Human, Senorita, Lover and Don't Start Now should all expect small boosts for the same reason.

“Fall On Me” was clearly the big winner last night based on sales. It’s #1 on iTunes and was also the most shazamed song. Hopefully Spotify gives it better playlist placements.

Would be amazing if Xtina got another top 40 hit out of Fall on Me. It's a gorgeous ballad!
