If this misses top 10 it joins the #1 on Pop but not Top 10 on Hot 100 club Jessica Simpson - "With You", Demi Lovato - "Give Your Heart A Break", and Jojo - "Leave (Get Out)" I think that's the other songs in the club you forgot delicate by taylor.I predicted my oh my to be #9 next week before drake's album announcement.let's hope that drake will only have one song from his new album in top 10 of hot 100 so my oh my can still peak in top 10 (#10).drake's Spotify debut numbers were not that big..only one song had impressive numbers so let's pray for Camila Drake is not the reason why this won't be touching that top 10 lol |

Camila has got a great team behind her.
Maybe they made some questionable single choices but she's always promoted and BOOKED.
I think they feel she has a bigger fanbase than she does. Either that or there promoting her that way.
I had a friend who did some work at a radio station and said they had more free tickets to giveaway than most acts give out.
I think it was alluded that she should have been playing smaller venues for the postponed/canelled tour.
In my opinion an arena tour sounds better than a smaller venue tour for a pop "it" girl and they were willing to giveaway many tickets to keep her in the bigger venues.
(just my opinion)
Great team and I don't blame them for being very faithful to her.
She's a very hard worker.

This deserves to miss the Top 10 on the Hot 100. With the Drake album bomb, DaBaby, The Scott’s and the remixes for Meghan and Doja, her label couldn’t have picked a worse week. It’s what they deserve though. I have never seen such a push from a label with such a large public disconnection of this magnitude since at least Tori Kelly. The struggle is real.

This deserves to miss the Top 10 on the Hot 100. With the Drake album bomb, DaBaby, The Scott’s and the remixes for Meghan and Doja, her label couldn’t have picked a worse week. It’s what they deserve though. I have never seen such a push from a label with such a large public disconnection of this magnitude since at least Tori Kelly. The struggle is real. I don't see them being able to push another single with all the money put into pushing this to #1, I think this era is officially done after this imo. |

They pushed this, which is not a sin. Closing out the era on a #1 single at her main format is a much better look than what she had before (two underperformers at the format and a bunch of singles that did nothing). It sets her up much better for whatever is next. In the end I'm getting a bit of a "Delicate" tea in that it will probably miss top 10 but it's still a massive win for her at this stage.

Because people post the (unofficial) rolling chart every day, there's a common misconception that the Mediabase chart is a daily chart. Hence, people incorrectly saying this went #1 on Thursday or whatever. In reality, Mediabase is a weekly chart - published every Sunday - that ranks songs based on a Sunday-Saturday tracking week. The rolling charts are daily updates on how songs are trending, but they don't count for anything. On any day other than Sunday, the rolling chart is actually including some spins from last week + spins from this week. It would be like deciding who won the Super Bowl based on what they scored in the 3rd and 4th quarter of the NFC Championship + the 1st and 2nd quarter of the actual Super Bowl game. Billboard Pop Songs is a completely separate chart, based on independent data and a Monday-Sunday tracking period. The official #1 on Pop Songs is announced Monday if it's worthy of its own article; otherwise, we'll get the info on Tuesdays. Outside of country, most radio teams gear their promotion toward Mediabase, so the official Mediabase charts that we get on Sunday are the only ones that really matter. But due to the Billboard name + the connection to the Hot 100 + a misconception about the connection between Mediabase and Billboard, many fans and artists will celebrate a Billboard Pop Songs #1 as well. |

Stay mad hunny. omg I thought you were praising Camila for a second until I saw the Grammy's :kii: congratulations to Camila. let the Romance era be a warning for her team to get it together. 1 of her 6 singles sticking and her lead single tapping out at #52 on the Hot 100 is what we call a sophomore slump. don't fool yourselves with the success of this single, which, by the way, happens to feature one of the hottest rap artists of the moment. much to think. her cheaply put together remix is #364 on US iTunes and out of Apple Music's Top 1500 and Spotify's Top 200. I don't think this is how the public responds when a song is actually popular. |
