Do you guys think Into The Unknown will hit the top 10 sometime in 2020? That would make it a Let It Go size hit. I doubt it. Could hit top 40 though once the Christmas songs drop off the chart in January.

GAH has had a much worse streaming presence than I assumed it would have considering it's following a smash hit and the remix features one of the most "in" pop girls atm. Lizzo very quickly transitioned from underground indie artist into radio-buddy sellout, so most of the promo for Good As Hell is probably industry stuff

Disney just released the full scene of Into to the Unknown on YouTube, should help its streaming further

It's quite sad.

Not trying to argue with you, just genuinely curious why you think that

What's your point breakdown for Circles and Heartless?

It's quite sad. Which seems silly to me. Underrated implies not enough people know and like her music, while overrated imples... too many people know and like that same music? I don't think I follow the logic with this. The only difference is that now instead of 10 people talking about her, 10 million people are. So the issue you have in this case isn't with her or her music, it's with the people who like her, which sounds kind of elitist.

Spotify Wrapped 2019 is out. Gonna be honest, didn't realize how much I listened to Sunflower that Post Malone would be my most streamed artist.

Dance Monkey is at 19,900 points also, rounded slightly beneath, I can easily see it entering top 10 around 8-10 if it has a big YouTube boost again but I'm not sure what will happen

Another close week again. Not gonna lie Abel not being able to get at least 300 points is a bit underwhelming with a lyric video and music video out. Maybe the CD/vinyl thing he pulled might edge him above Circles.

With material that is 2 and 3 years old? How is that even possible?

That has nothing to do with charts themselves if artist X can't climb to #1.
For instance, the first 7 days of Heartless on Spotify were 15 % weaker than Lose You to Love Me's biggest week to date. We all know he does better on Apple Music but does he do well enough there?

It's quite sad. "lizzo sold out" is only for the marks who are still salty Boys and Juice weren't her big singles. Like yeah, I wish her best songs were the ones that went big but it's best to appreciate the fact she's popular at all as opposed to cherry-picking which songs are supposed to be popular. Like I'm a Weeknd fan and while I wish Wicked Games hadn't gotten the attention it deserved back in 2012-2013, but I'm glad he's gotten a popular fanbase. Same with Kendrick: I don't love HUMBLE. as much as any of his other singles but the fact I can say "Kendrick Lamar has a number one single" is nice.

Yea Heartless doesnβt seem as guaranteed at #1 as everyone was saying, his streaming is kinda ehh. His merch needs to come in clutch

I don't care whether Heartless hits #1 or not, it's a non-event for me especially with Blinding Lights existing and I wouldn't mind Circles spending another week atop

I just noticed it after the Grammy nominations and I was surprised with some of the reactions I saw on social and comments on articles about it, she received quite a backlash. Billie got it too to be fair (especially just recently with the Van Halen 'controversy'). I guess it's just normal when someone's career takes off but it just weird for Lizzo's case because when Truth Hurts was starting to rise, people were cheering for her as she is finally getting noticed and a few months later after the success, backlash ensued.

If you want artists who actually sold to making less interesting music, Adam Levine and Brendon Urie are right there, and 9.8 times out of 10, I would much rather listen to a Lizzo song than the newest Panic! or Maroon 5 song.

Heartless still hangs in there at #1 on Spotify: 1.52 vs 1.45M. Top 16 remains unchanged.

Taylor Swift releasing a Christmas song with a video tonight, AIWFCIY has competition. When is the last time a brand new holiday song did all that well on the charts? It might have decent sales this first week, but it wonβt have huge airplay and its streams likely wonβt be too great (especially in 2 weeks).
