Heard this song on my wal, on Spotify today for the first time. Wow so impressed! It sounds like actual MUSIC! I love the husky in his voice at the start and once the chorus hits. I forget the epidemic and feel like I'm sitting at cafe in Rome sipping on an espresso with cool breeze giving my hair a fan. Adore this.

I wish something better from the album would breakout, rather than this tune with its repetitive chorus, but I’m still super happy for him.

So glad he managed to get the #1! Love this song. I'm not sure there are any smashes left on the album, but I'm hoping he can manage another hit. I'd go with "Watermelon Sugar" next.

I still think "Lights Up" sounds like a HUGE smash but it's too late. That ship has sailed got stuck at the port. What a waste. I'd go with either "Watermelon Sugar" or a slightly sped up "Falling," which is quite popular and could follow the "Someone You Loved"/ "Perfect" wave to #1. |

"Falling" seems like the obvious next single to me.. but I'm not a big fan.. too slow and depressing. Not sure if anything will do as well as "Adore You" though. Great album but not a lot of obvious hit singles.

Why are you guys hoping for the worst case scenario? Of course this going Top 10! I hope it goes to #1 like the pop perfection that it is. For some reason* this always sounded like a #1 to me. I had a gut feeling it would make it even when it was seemingly stalling outside of the Top 10. So happy to see this destiny manifested. *its perfection |

Still baffles me how slow Pop has become like incredibly slow
This song came out 4 months ago...
Glad this got this high though, really grew on me!
As did Watermelon Sugar which sounds like another Pop smash or at least they should try
Falling doesn't perform too well in the UK and WS went to #4 in NZ on album release week above Adore You sooo
