Is Yummy's -7.95 update on radio today a new record for the largest negative update on radio?

^Not even close. It already had a -11.22 on its eighth day. Several high profile songs that rise quickly in their first week out tend to have large drops on their eighth day.

^I don't know but Look What You Made Me Do, although didn't quite a big single day drop had several relatively large ones that took it from the #5 to #20 in Radio Songs in one week. So we'll see if something as dramatic happens with Yummy.

Has nothing to do with age or generation but being aware of what you are posting. As a fellow Christian I also found it rather offensive. I wouldn't personally say anything flippant regarding Allah for example because I respect others' beliefs even if they aren't my own. I don't think the OP was deliberately trying to be offensive just probably a little careless by mistake. Well said. It is a habit by many people to say it over and over. Its really up to them to realize what they are in fact saying, but I know they don't mean to say it at the same time.

I still can’t get the sole fact that this hit #1. Seriously?! Like what song got robbed when this was at the top I still don't understand who was streaming that song or why radio picked it up. It is one of the most boring songs in a very long time. How you don't understand. I enjoyed it. There aren't enough piano ballads these days. John Legend currently has a nice one as well. It is always good for different styles of music to hit the charts. Try Yummy for really boring IMO.

We're discussing songs about sex, drugs, and violence, but we're going to draw the line at cursing and saying the name of a religious figure? K. You could discuss all you want about anything and nothing is wrong there. That's normal for me. What I don't get is why does Jesus have to be mixed up with the curse words. Cuss with curse words alone. Does it sound better with Jesus or God in it? Anyways, if people are accustomed to writing or saying it, keep doing it then....

It still hurts that Bad Romance was never a #1. I ADORE that 2010 top 3 though. All classics.
That 2015 top ten was all pop!

We are way past the 8th day effect, so isn't the drop as a result of bad callouts and that its gonna continue to disintegrate.

The 8th day effect is where the song gets lots of spins on its first day because it is new, and then on the 8th day it doesn’t get as much spins. It got lots of extra spins last week on Saturday to Monday because of trying to gain more points on the Hot 100 like the OP said. Those spins are not there this week so the song is losing a lot of spins. This didn’t exist on Tuesday so the song will be stable by then.

It's updates last Saturday through Monday (reflecting spins/audience from last Friday through Sunday) were heavily inflated due to Justin and his team trying to get extra points for the Hot 100. Since the radio chart is a rolling chart, now those extra spins it wouldn't have gotten without the "extra push" are gone. Tomorrow's update will be even worse, but all will be back to normal on Tuesday as it's update wasn't inflated with any "push" last week. Edit: Oh Lukas beat me to it.

I did see the losses back on the 11th
32(-9) Justin Bieber - Yummy 47.51(-11.22)
So I thought that was it. Didn't realize the points YO-YO up-down with this song

^I'd hope so. But there's no way to know officially yet. Radio callouts will be available again in early February.

January 23, 201001 01 TiK ToK - Ke$ha (4th of 9 weeks at #1)07 NE Blah Blah Blah - Ke$ha feat. 3OH!3 27 NE Your Love Is My Drug - Ke$ha 1. Kesha really came out the gate with unexpected success in 2010. "Tik Tok" seemed like a bonafide one-hit wonder song. Yet the album debuted #1, her 2nd single debuted top 10, and she had like 5 top 10s that year. 2. I just re-listened to Blah Blah Blah, and it's a guilty pleasure but damn does 2010 music seem like a lifetime ago. 3. 3OH3!'s feature on Blah Blah Blah is barely 15 seconds. That has to be one of the shortest credited features on a hit ever.

Example: Flo Rida and Ke$ha(to an extent, she still did over 100k but as massive as Tik Tok was..)
