OK now that I know what the TikTok / Break My Stride thing is, it's hilarious! I totally think the song could get re-released and be a huge hit again. These are 3 i've seen that are pretty funny: #1#2#3 |

I think Blinding Lights's best shot at going #1 is when Abel's album drops. As long as it doesn't come out by the time people have already gotten bored of it (think Rockstar with BB&B), it should have a reasonable chance with a streaming boost and a hopefully high radio audience.

In the same way that despite it being mostly acoustic guitar driven, it's not a country song. |

ok for real, I wish the record label would re-release Break My Stride to radio. Back in the 80's and early 90's, older songs got re-released all the time, some going to #1 on it's second chart run (When I'm WIth You - Sherif, Red Red Wine - UB40, and a handful of others...)
I think it'd be awesome if they re-leased Break My Stride to RADIO play. That's the only way it could be a hit again. How many songs have been re-released in the past 10 years? Anyone know?
