This is honestly pure gold! π If we have something like "best posts of the year", this one should definitely be a strong contender...you are an absolute genius! (and while we're at it, is there any way "Take What You Want" might return to the top 50 before making it to twenty weeks on the chart? Is Post Malone really going to wait until "Circles" fully peaks before pushing any other single - if any?)

All I can hope for is that Post is waiting for Ozzy to drop his new album before they push TWYW/release a MV for it..... if not idk what Post is doing

When did we start hating Eminem? Pulse is so random sometimes. We're here for all these boring lowbeat rappers who keep putting out the same song again and again and whose music careers are all fronts for their drug businesses anyway, but one of - if not the - greatest rappers of all time is now too old, too lame and way too edgy? I'd take Eminem over deadbeat-dad Future any day of the week. Is it to much to call this post racist? Because there are a lot of undertones in this post

How well is "Break My Stride" doing? Was it a hit back when it was first released? Peaked at #5 in early 1984. I don't mean to sound like a Boomer/Wrong Generation type, but man was 1984 a great year for pop music.

No one's questioning Eminem's impact or the quality of his earlier albums. His legacy and effect on rap cannot be and SSLP, MMLP1 and Eminem Show are great albums. But just because a rapper is important and influential to the game does not make them immune from criticism. Kanye, Jay-Z, Nas, all are incredibly influential and important but also have they're fare share of mediocre to bad albums in their discography. Expectation also plays a big part into things. I'm not a Future Fan at all but I don't expect great things when I put on a Future song. Meanwhile, there's a higher stander and expectation for Eminem because of both his legacy and his talent just as a rapper. He's made great stuff in the 2010s: Lucky You, Fast Lane, the best songs from MMLP2 so it's not like his talents fading. So when you expect great things from a rapper and yet they deliver songs like Venom, Stepdad, Kamikaze, Heat, Bad Husband, Nice Guy, etc., it makes for a worse disappointment. At least future never made anything as bad as venom or nice guy

The new Em album isnβt as bad at Revival and thereβs a few good songs (!!!), but his rejection of human decency just isnβt a good look. Iβm not pleased w the fact that he 1. makes light of the Manchester Arena attack and 2. releases that song on a surprise LP the day AGβs exβs posthumous album is released. She must be having an awful day.

I like 1985 more solely because Kate Bushβs βHounds of Loveβ dropped that year

Tons of great Synthpop and Dance Rock tracks. There are also great periods in music such as the mid-late 60s with a lot of Psychedelic rock and Motown Soul. The early 70s was amazing as well with Singer-songwriter/Folk rock and Funk. The mid 90s was filled with great Alternative Rock, Hip-Hop, and House music

Godzilla is the #1 trending song on YouTube and has 2.2 million views so far. Darkness has 9.4 million views so far. Eminem's views are more global than most other rappers, however, so we'll have to see how many of them are US based.

Darkness is one of the most powerful songs Iβve heard in a while. I hope it can debut top 10.

Iβd assume that them βonlyβ getting to 3 on Apple Music would prevent a number one unless his YouTube numbers are godly, but he should at least get one top ten.

I gotta say, I was actually enjoying the new Halsey album up until the skit about how 'her best song is on the radio' and then Without Me came on. The album took a dip in quality after that. It is the best Halsey album though, with 'Forever' easily being her best song since Colors and Roman Holiday.

The Box is up to almost 3.8 million streams on Spotify. 14% increase from 3.3 million last Friday. Where was that list of most streams in a day on Spotify? Cuz this has to be coming close to the top

Mac is holding his own against Eminem on US Spotify so far, hoping he can pull through with a #1 album especially because he remembered to make the songs good

Oh alright. What a random song to suddenly go viral in 2020 lol At this point most songs going viral are random. But also, considering Puff Daddy used βBreak My Strideβ on a #1 hit in the late 90s, it is a song with some general longevity.
