I'll try to time this with the Tribal Council but I do want to judge this one.

After running a very strong, our third place team is...3. The Tomato Haterz Squad (BB🌕 & walt91 ) Overall Score: 414.7Roadblock Rank: #1 | Special Roadblock Rank: #1 | Detour Ranks: #5, #6 | Final Challenge Ranks: #4, #6Roadblock Results:(Sent by BB)Judge's Thoughts:Nick: this is just smooth as hell. the guitar work here is really nice and slick, and Marvin Gaye’s vocals here are really on point. overall this is just a really nice and groovy track (9.5/10)Mylo: Time for a theme I know all about, sexual intercourse! I do like this significantly more melodically and sound-wise than Grapevine, but I also find this one a touch creepier haha. I feel bad for the girl (?) he’s singing to here, she’s probably feeling a little exposed. Oh well (7.2/10)Adrian: The soul is just oozing out of this track and I love everything about it. It's one that I've heard a lot, but it's still amazing to this day. Fantastic vocals and just a thoroughly enjoyable listen. (9/10)Trilogy: (9/10)Fearless: I love the guitars on this and it’s just a great funky R&B track. It’s a vibe for sure. Saxophones are an added bonus 85% of the time for me, so it’s got that going for me too, haha. I would give a super high score just on the instrumentals and production, but Marvin Gaye’s vocal delivery is just as convincing as the music at delivering a sensual jam. (9.6/10)Charmander: (6.5/10)Tanooki: I should probably listen to this while i have sex to get a better judgement on its impact but i dont have anyone to f**k rn so i had to reach into the ol collection for this, ill tell you it goes v well (8/10)shazam: smooth as all hell, and one of my favorite Marvin tracks (8.6/10)Overall: 66.9Special Roadblock Results:(Sent by Walt)Judge's Thoughts:Nick: this song’s existence boggles my mind. who in their right mind thought that this was a good thing to release that people would enjoy. the squeaky thing in the background and the super gross lyrics are just awful. 0.5/10Mylo: Is it bad that I don’t totally hate this? Like, the problems are obvious. Gross, production is kinda bad, and overall weak. But… I like the sound of it? It pushes forward and I find myself grooving to it lol? What a strange feeling, I’m honestly super conflicted on this song. I’ll give it exactly 5, the perfect middle. (5/10)Adrian: Honestly this just made me extremely uncomfortable and there's really no other way to describe it. I could barely even get through the whole song. Do people actually enjoy listening to this?? (0.5/10)Trilogy: (0/10)Fearless: Not gonna lie… the beat is kind of nice (0.5 points is solely from the beat)? But the lyrics kill any enthusiasm I had about the beat - like imagine just reading the lyrics out loud… it’s SO bad. Also something about David Banner’s rap is just creepy too. No. Just No. One of the few songs where the clean version sounds better than the explicit version. The explicit version is just nasty - which is what I used to judge this song. Not that the clean version would’ve boosted my score that much but... (0.5/10)Charmander: I can't get through a minute of this song, it's very uncomfortable. Absolute trash. (0/10)Juggalo: A pure unadulterated f**k song. I absolutely Stan it and I'm so so so sorry to whoever chose this (10/10)shazam: ....am i being seduced. i also don't like the way David Banner is looking at me on the cover (0.2/10)Overall: 16.7 -> 63.3Detour Results:Songs #1:(Winter)Judge's Thoughts:Nick: this does nail the theme. and I think the song is pretty groovy. I’ve never been a huge fan of Robyn’s voice, but the song is still a solid track (5/7 for quality, 3/3 for theme = 8/10)Mylo: Pulse confession time: I’ve never heard this one in full properly before (that I remember at least haha). So this is basically a first listen, and it’s good enough for a first listen. I don’t think it’s amazing, it’s not quite ‘run away with me’ levels or anything but it’s good enough. I’m not super sold on the theme though, I’m struggling to hear the happiness or really positive side to it haha. Oh well, not a bad choice! (5.5 for quality, 1 for theme, 6.5/10)Adrian: I love this song a lot. It's what pop music should sound like and I really enjoy everything I've heard from Robyn. I'm not sure I see how it fits the theme but I guess that's subjective, so I'll still score it high for being an awesome song. (9/10)Trilogy: (9.5/10)Fearless: Robyn’s delivery of the song and the pulsing synths in the song make it seem like it’s a cheery song but the lyrics contrast the sonic aspects of the song in every way - it somehow has the effect of making the song more somber in a way. (6.8/10 for the music, 2/2 for the theme -> 8.8/10)Charmander: This was a first time listen, and sorry it didn't do much for me. Theme-wise, it's more just sad, and I guess the production kind of mixes to be more upbeat in general, but idk I don't get a sense of it being happy or sweet as well. (quality: 5/7 theme: 1.5/3, 6.5/10)Sambalada: One of the best songs that have achieved gay anthem status no doubt. Every part of this song is perfection. The synthesizer creates a believable club atmosphere that blends so well with the melancholic melody. Robyn somehow successfully blend heartbreak with club music and THAT is basically an ear orgasm for the gays. (9.8/10)Overall: 58.1Song #2:(Spring)Judge's Thoughts:Nick: I’ve never really liked this song. it just feels super formulaic and bland imo. the build up is fine and all I guess but with the theme I was looking for more of a build up over the whole song, which is lacking here. 2/7 for quality, 1/3 for theme = 3/10Mylo: Zedd’s breakthrough and I find it… alright. It’s not amazing, I honestly find the production work kinda weak and I’m not a fan of the drop in particular. Foxes’ has a really cool voice which brings up the song a bit but otherwise it would be significantly lower lol. I also don’t think it’s a great fit for the theme given it has multiple ‘payoffs’ and none of them are very good for me. Oh well, you tried? (5 for quality, 1 for theme, 6/10)Adrian: I still love this song, especially now after how mediocre Zedd has become. The production here is on point and Foxes has a beautiful voice. I think this would fit better in the summer category as it's almost what I would call a perfect EDM track. But it's still amazing. (9/10)Trilogy: (8/10)Fearless: Songs that I discovered before it hits big has a special place in my heart and this was one of them. It went #1 on my personal chart in March of 2013 (might’ve been April) but didn’t peak until later summer at least in the US. It still remains my favorite Zedd song by far (“Spectrum” is great as well though). The song does build up to a satisfying release, but I can’t help but thinking choosing the style of EDM that became huge in the early 2010s in mainstream pop music (big room?) for this theme sounds like a copout… it still fits so I’ll give majority of the theme points here. (7.7/8 for the music, 1.5/2 for the theme -> 9.2/10)Charmander: an edm song would make sense for this theme since it often revolves around building up to a release. Anyways, solid song overall, and while the drop doesn't pay off as much as I'd like it to, the build up through the chorus is really good. Nice job (quality: 6/7 theme: 2.5/3, 8.5/10)Sambalada: Both songs chosen for Spring are perfect for the theme, and I love how both are very distinct in sound. This is one of my favorite EDM hits of the decade and personally Zedd's best track to date. He also made the correct vocalist choice because Foxes' vocal performance is outstanding. And the final big drop? YESSSS. (9.5/10)Overall: 53.2Final Challenge Results:Song #1:(Originally Sent: Leg 9 Detour)Judge's Thoughts:Nick: uninspired choice but it’s a jam. it’s really one of the most danceable tracks ever, appropriately. Very good stuff (8.5/10)Mylo: Obvious choice, but for the right reasons! It’s just such a fun, groovy song. Easily my favourite Whitney song, and an absolute beast of a tune! (9/10)Lukas: (5/10)Cynthia: I can kind of see this as fitting of a reflection on one's journey too, it's just more subtle about it than DITW because it's such an upbeat poppy tune. And it's less 'life is short' and more 'life is short - pray for good judges' (9.5/10)Jaden: (10/10)Shruggie: (7/10)Shooter: (7/10)Mayman: This is an absolute classic. This is one of my favorite songs of the '80s. The lyrics, the vocals, the production - everything is great. This was a great song to choose to send. (10/10)DistrictTwelve: You hear that intro and you immediately want to get up and dance along. The song has such a positive and carefree aura about it that'll take all your worries away. It's also encapsulates the era it came from while sounding timeless. We'll be dancing and jamming to this song for a long time. (9.3/10)Tanooki: a f**king classic RIP WHITNEY (9/10)Juggalo" I dont know anyone who can hate on Whitney. This is one of her more iconic songs, and the only reason I'm not ranking higher is based on being burnt. If this was any other song, it would be higher, but you definitely aren't getting tanked (8.4/10)Overall: 92.7Song #2: (Originally Sent: Leg 2 Detour) Nick: I do like Slide a lot. but at the same time, sending it here seems kinda random. It doesn’t feel like a song that defines your time in the race. but oh well, it’s still good (8/10)
Mylo: Groovy, funky and on top of all fun! It’s a weird mix but in all the right ways, and a throwback to one of the first legs when this was chosen and pushed this team up! Nice choice~ (9.2/10)
Lukas: (4/10)
Cynthia: (7.5/10)
Jaden: (8/10)
Shruggie: (9/10)
Shooter: (10/10)
Mayman: This is such a great song. All 3 artists blend well on this song. It's such a summer feel song, it just makes you feel good. Frank Ocean on the chorus was a great choice. (9/10)
DistrictTwelve: Grooooves for days. I'm not particularly a fan of any of these artists (maybe Calvin) but this collab is sublime and works very well. I have myself singing and rapping along to the song, and it's just good vibes. Calvin's work on the track is the highlight for me, I love all the different styles that he blends and experiments with. (8.8/10)
Tanooki: migos and frank ocean cool but that screeching high pitched "empty my bank account" bad bad not good (6/10)
Juggalo: I'm sorry but I've made my opinion on this song well known. Overrated, garbage, just completely void and empty. Only getting a point because of a smooth chorus but that's it. (1/10)
Overall: 80.5
Well after a great race this is where it comes to an end for you two. Thanks so much for playing!

and the runner ups are...2. Team Jeff (singingrulebritannia & jamesflame )Overall Score: 419.7Roadblock Rank: #2 | Special Roadblock Rank: #3 | Detour Ranks: #3, #4 | Final Challenge: #2, #5Roadblock Results:(Sent by James)Judge's Thoughts:Nick: this is just like a great and really groovy track. the chorus is insanely catchy and Diana Ross sounds great here. I also really like the small build up that goes into the chorus, very good stuff. (9.5/10)Mylo: These roadblocks have gotten better and better as time has gone on! No surprise this is one of the biggest songs of all-time, it’s so succinct and precise! Cool sound, definitely adding this to the rotation~ (9.3/10)Adrian: This is iconic for all the right reasons. Nile Rodgers' slick production and Diana Ross' flawless voice blend so nicely in this track that's 4 minutes of pure greatness. I really like this. (9/10)Trilogy: (6/10)Fearless: The production is a bit more on the sparse end for this one - but that’s also what makes it stand out in a way. I can hear the piano riff clearly, in fact it’s a nice accent to the rather sparse production. There’s something bouncy about Diana Ross’ delivery which complements nicely with the piano riff. Solid choice. (9/10)Charmander: (7/10)Tanooki: funky but lowkey in a way its a really neat balance and diana does a pretty good job, sucks white people had to invent disco and ruin funky ass music forever (8/10)shazam: a fan, dancey disco jam. nice production on this one, especially enjoy the bass. the extended jam at the end is also pretty great (7.9/10)Overall: 65.7Special Roadblock Results:(Sent by Gates)Judge's Thoughts:Nick: eek I do not like this song. its what I imagine certain pastries hear whenever they listen to a rock song. its just so messy and in your face. not a fan at all (1/10)Mylo: Mindless screaming is not my style. I don’t like boring yelling, and I certainly don’t like pointless energy. This isn’t absolutely atrocious but it is mindless and I have no use for it. Yawn~ (0.5/10)Adrian: Oops I think I actually like this song lmao. It has a lot of energy to it but it's not overly annoying. I also have a brother who listens to this kind of music, so I'm able to tolerate it much more now than I was a few years ago if that makes sense. I've heard a lot worse in this genre, but I do like this song. (8/10)Trilogy: (0.5/10)Fearless: I mean the instrumentals are fine but the “we came to get WHAAAAAT” part is just hilarious, this definitely falls into the ‘hilariously bad’ category. Also the lyrics don’t particularly make sense to me? They seem a bit disjointed to put it kindly but what actually did they come to get though... (1.5/10)Charmander: I dont think its that bad. Vocals are grating but it's kind of a banger lol (5.5/10)Juggalo: I'm sorry but this song absolutely slaps and in my judgment I can not say it sucks when it does the opposite for me (8.5/10)shazam: the opening scream made me laugh out loud, i haven't heard as bad of a euphemism for sex as this in a long time (0.4/10)Overall: 25.9 -> 54.1Detour Results:Song #1:(Winter)Judge's Thoughts:Nick: this is a cool little song. I think it has a unique vibe and fits the theme pretty solidly. very pleasant listen, good stuff (6/7 for quality, 3/3 for theme = 9/10)Mylo: The sound of this is so nice, it really does sound like a winter song. I could imagine this on the Frozen soundtrack, it’s a bit haunting but still beautiful! Cool choice, I think it hits the theme and also is a good song in its own right~ (6 for quality, 2.5 for theme, 8.5/10)Adrian: I thought this was pretty interesting. It's kind of vibey and has good vocals. I think it fits the category well so bonus point for that. But yeah, I enjoy this song overall. Nice pick. (8.5/10)Trilogy: (9/10)Fearless: The music sounds great - it’s very dreamy for a lack of better word, or maybe almost ethereal even. The lyrics are about curling back into a safe space (like when they were kids) which does give the song “a cold edge”. ((6/8 for the music, 2/2 for theme -> 8/10)Charmander: this was a decent listen, and it does have a balance of it being darker and also a sweeter side, though I think it could've done a better job at hitting both sides tho. (quality: 5.5/7 theme: 2/3, 7.5/10)Sambalada: Never heard this song before and, wow was this song perfect for the theme. I would describe the melody and instrumental as bittersweet. For some reason this song makes me smile even though the tempo was nothing fun, which is what this theme is all about. Gorgeous vocals, too. Thanks for the discovery. (8.2/10)Overall: 58.7Song #2:(Spring)Judge's Thoughts:Nick: I like how low key this song starts of as. it’s like peak 60s and I love it. and once the heavier drums and such kick in it gives a nice build up to the pay off at the end of the song which is super satisfying. great stuff (7/7 for quality 3/3 for theme = 10/10)Mylo: I forget where I’ve heard this artist before? Maybe it was some Youtube video lol, but anyway this song is cool enough! It’s definitely theme-fulfilling and a good song in its own right. I love the vocals and my mum even complimented me while listening to it because it was ‘old-school’. (5.8 for quality, 3 for theme, 8.8/10)Adrian: I don't think I've ever heard this before, but it sounds pretty good. I do kind of get spring vibes from it and it builds up nicely as the song progresses. So nice choice for this category. I enjoy this song a good amount. (8/10)Trilogy: (8/10)Fearless: This song indeed does take off in the second half with the added instrumentation - and peaks with the falsetto note for the “I need your love” part. It’s a pretty song overall too - nothing remarkable from a songwriting perspective but the vocals are the standout here as well as the production choices imo. (7/8 for the music, 2/2 for the theme -> 9/10)Charmander: Yeah this was kind of boring sorry. I was waiting for that satisfying release, and building up to it took a lot longer than I anticipated, so I was only satisfied for the last 20 seconds or so. I just wished it happened sooner because it was pretty satisfying tho. (quality: 5/7 theme: 2.5/3, 7.5/10)Sambalada: Holy f**k those vocals. Not to sound like a boomer (I'm obviously not) but today's male singers could take a note or two from these 60s artists. This song is simply beautiful. The delivery, the atmosphere, and most importantly the BUILD UP. I'm glad you send this because it's perfect for this theme. Gorgeous song. (9.1/10)Overall: 60.4Final Challenge Results: Song #1:(Originally Sent: Leg 8 Roadblock)Judge's Thoughts:Nick: god I LOVE the moment when this song kicks in. and overall this is just a super groovy and solid track. I’m glad y’all sent this again since it’s one of my favorite discoveries I’ve had from your team during the race (10/10)Mylo: I’d never heard this song before this game, but I’m super happy to be introduced to it! It’s really solid but in a subtler way, and it’s also far less predictable than you could’ve gone. The production here is top notch, really cool stuff. Nice work! (8.8/10)Lukas: (9.8/10)Cynthia: "for tonight it's all the way" - great line for a team that is hopeful they're about to go all the way to victory! It's admittedly not my most favorite of all these songs here and that's the only reason it doesn't get a 10, but this is a really fantastic choice from a theme perspective. (9.5/10)Jaden: (7.5/10)Shruggie: (8/10)Shooter: (8/10)Mayman: This was another first listen for me. I really enjoyed this. It's very catchy and the production is so fun. This was a great choice to send in. (8/10)DistrictTwelve: The elements of the song were nice, and I like the feel that it brings from the 70s. That 10+ second note in the first minute of the song is great. The hook is actually very catchy and I found myself singing Dim All The Lights after the song ended. I liked the song, but it was my only first listen. Definitely will not be my last though. (7.6/10)Tanooki: I actually dimmed the lights in my room and it made the song better. This ranking is based on a dim light setting so it may be different with the lights on. (7/10)Juggalo: STAN PERFECTION (10/10)Overall: 94.2Song #2: (Originally Sent: Leg 9 Roadblock)Judge's Thoughts:Nick: this is a really nice song. it’s some really good guitar work and some pretty sweet lyrics. and seriously I cannot overstate how much I love the instruments here especially the guitar. great stuff (9.5/10)Mylo: Okay fine, you win! I love this song, it physically makes me tear up and it’s almost beyond discussion. I can’t quite give it a 10/10 but it’s as close to perfection as one can get, it’s immaculately made. Fantastic selection! (9.9/10)Lukas: (3/10)Cynthia: indeed, we are just dust in the wind so every challenge was a fight to capture a moment that we'll never have again (I'm sure I just gave this 10x more thought than whoever picked this did lol). Anyway, I love this song. I'd give it an 11 if I could. (10/10)Jaden: (5/10)Shruggie: (9/10)Shooter: (5/10)Mayman: Eh. This was yet another first listen for me and it was pretty boring. Nothing from this song was appealing to me whatsoever. (4/10)DistrictTwelve: This is such a beautiful song. I thought that I didn't know it but when it started I knew it right away. The instrumentals are really nice and it's definitely a classic. This is only lower for me because of being less familiar with it, but it's still great. I can recall my dad listening to this a couple of times. (8.2/10)Tanooki: I CLOOOOOOOOOOOOSE MYYYYYYYYYYYYYY EEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSONLY FOR A MOMENTTHIS IS THE GREATEST f**kinG SONG EVER OMG I LITERALLY CREAM MY f**kinG PANTS EVERY TIME IT COMES ON THIS IS MUSICAL PERFECTION AND THE ONLY GOOD THING THE STATE OF KANSAS EVER DID PERIODT (10/10)Juggalo: YES YES YES YES, ABSOLUTE PERFECTION, FD5 MEMORIES, IF I COULD GO BEYOND 10 I WOULD (10/10)Overall: 83.6your late game momentum just barely ran out. still, you two played one of the riskier games, and I loved a ton of discoveries you two gave during the race. thanks for racing!and the winner is....1. The Optimistic Cockroaches (willapted33 & samo🦕 )Overall Score: 437.8Roadblock Rank: #3 | Special Roadblock Rank: #2 | Detour Ranks: #1, #2 | Final Challenge Ranks: #1, #3Roadblock Results:(Sent by Samo)Judge's Thoughts:Nick: this is a nice tense track. all the elements feel very well connected and well thought out. with that said, it doesn’t quite click with me the way I’d like it to. very good, but not quite perfect, song (8/10)Mylo: I expected to like this far more given the title mentioning grapes lol, but it’s a little lower for me. Not bad or anything, but given how much I liked Mercy Mercy Me it’s a bit of a shame I find this just decent? (7/10)Adrian: Ahhh I remember hearing this a good amount when I was growing up. Brings back great memories. Also Marvin Gaye has an undeniably amazing voice and I see why this is in the Billboard Greatest of All Time list. It's a fantastic track. (9.5/10)Trilogy: (9/10)Fearless: The almost eerie/dramatic instrumentals are a great asset to this song. I can definitely understand that it’s a great song, but I just don’t like as much as the other Marvin Gaye song in this set. And you may have guessed it but it’s the melody that doesn’t stick out to me as much. Still a great song though. (8.2/10)Charmander: (6.5/10)Tanooki: yooo issa classic bro idk what to say its just great (8/10)shazam: an absolute classic soul track. although I usually enjoy Marvin's later stuff, there's no denying this track is just awesome (8.3/10)Overall: 64.5Special Roadblock Results:(Sent by Will)Judge's Thoughts:Nick: yeah this is pretty bad. I think its too like forgettable and I guess like empty/meaningless for me to really hate, but its definitely a bad song. (3/10)Mylo: It’s weird to say it but this song is boring. 9ix9ine is dull, flat and BORING on this song, it’s such an odd thing to say. But yeah, this is traaaaaash and there’s no justification to it for me lol. Yucky stuff. (0.3/10)Adrian: Yeah this sucks for obvious reasons. Generic and uninteresting production and I just cannot stand 6ix9ine's voice. I despise him and this song. The only reason this isn't a 0 is because Nicki isn't awful here. (1/10)Trilogy: (1.5/10)Fearless: There’s literally nothing redeeming about this song. 6ix9ine’s rap voice is annoying, the lyrics are horrible… just awful. (0.5/10)Charmander: I also don't think it's that bad. But not worth revisiting either (5/10)Juggalo: As y'all know, I can separate the artist from the art, and 69 aside, this song is quotable fire (9/10)shazam: lyrics are piss-poor and 6ix9ine's a horrible person, but if this beat were paired with better rapping and a better person, it could maybe be an ok song. everything else sucks though (1.8/10)Overall: 22.1 -> 57.9Detour Results:Song #1:(Winter)Judge's Thoughts:Nick: yeah I mean this obviously fits the theme haha. the song itself is also really nice. it’s just a very solid track. (6/7 for quality, 3/3 for theme = 9/10)Mylo: Well duh this is a smart choice haha. Obvious doesn’t equal bad though lol, it’s bittersweet and absolutely nails the theme, beyond being excellent! (6.7 for quality, 3 for theme, 9.7/10)Adrian: I adore this song. It's like the perfect example of what a good country song sounds like (just like almost the entire album haha). Her voice is very dreamy and I love the simplicity of the track. It fits well with the theme. So yeah, I love this a lot. (9.5/10)Trilogy: (7/10)Fearless: Golden Hour is one of my favorite albums of the 2010s and while “Happy & Sad” isn’t among my top top favorites, it’s still a song that I really love. I really like the melody of the chorus + I think the song captures the mysterious feeling of feeling happy but being scared that things might/can only go downhill from here. (7/8 for the music, 2/2 for theme -> 9/10)Charmander: I haven't dug much into Kacey's discography, but this is one of the few I know and it's pretty solid. production wise it's a little happier than dark, but I think the lyrics and her emotion help balance the darker/colder side and the happiness of how she feels. Nice song (quality: 6/7 theme: 2.5/3, 8.5/10)Sambalada: This remained my favorite track from Golden Hour which knowing me, said a lot. I remembered when I first listened to this song and I literally cried because of how beautiful it is. The title speak for itself. It's happiness and sadness combined into one and to create this beautiful track. Kacey had DOZEN songs that totally captured her strength as a lyricist and this one is definitely one of her best. (9.7/10)Overall: 62.4Song #2:(Summer)Judge's Thoughts:Nick: I really like the song. it gives off that rainy summer day vibe which I dig. overall there’s not much to say here it’s such a really great song (7/7 for quality, 3/3 for theme = 10/10)Mylo: This is a chill, sweet song. It’s grown on me so much since my first listen, and rightfully so! It feels purposely crafted, as if every element was given the utmost attention to make it as smooth as possible haha. So while I don’t think this song is perfect, it totally fulfils the challenge description! (6.2 for quality, 3 for theme, 9.2/10)Adrian: I've been meaning to listen to this group for a little while. I really enjoy this song. I think it was my first time hearing it, and it just sounded really nice. I also think it fits the theme well. So yeah, I really enjoy this. Nice choice. (8.5/10)Trilogy: (9/10)Fearless: I’m not sure what “encapsulates that feeling of perfection” is alluding me to look for so this is hard to judge… so plz no one kill me I love the vibe of the song and the vocals fit the song really well here too. Everything about the song meshes well… so I’ll give it some nice theme points! (7.3/8 for the music, 2/2 for the theme -> 9.3/10)Charmander: This was a good discovery in last year's march madness (I think). Anyways. I'm giving this full points on the theme as I can totally see why someone would think it encapsulates perfection while I don't believe it to be a perfect song myself. But the lyrics, production, and vocals are all great together and mesh pretty close to perfect. Great pick (quality: 6/7 theme: 3/3, 9/10)Sambalada: This must be Will's song, right. Can't be anyone else and I honestly can't complain. This could easily work for winter and spring. The melody is one I would describe as sadness, and the dreamy production elevates that sadness into some kind of musical ecstasy. The vocal performance is beautiful, I love the slight raspiness of the vocalist's voice. Thank you. (8.8/10)Overall: 63.8Final Challenge Results:Song #1:(Originally Sent: Leg 7 Detour)Judge's Thoughts:Nick: I like this. it’s got a nice groove and a solid crescendo. I really don’t have any complaints about this, and while I don’t adore it, it’s a very solid song (9/10)Mylo: This is still excellent! Probably in my top 10 songs from pre-2000s, it’s beautiful and still holds up without a doubt right now. Excellent choice, I like that you guys didn’t just choose a Dua song or something very obvious for Pulse. Well done! (9.8/10)Lukas: (9.4/10)Cynthia: (8/10)Jaden: (9/10)Shruggie: (9/10)Shooter: (10/10)Mayman: This was a first listen for me. It was cute and I liked the production. The lyrics were alright, I guess. I wouldn't return to this song but it was alright. (6/10)DistrictTwelve: Call Me! The instruments used on this song are so good, and the song overall is exhilarating and such a ride throughout. I love the instrumental break on the bridge! Her vocals also work very well for the track, and with its catchy hook it's definitely no shock that it became such a big hit. Feels like a song to sing in the shower or with friends, or to workout to, lol. (8.6/10)Tanooki: Blondie is f**king amazing, I really want Debbie Harry to step on me and make me her bitch. This isn't their best song ever but its still a bop. The chorus goes hard as f**k and the guitar is pretty dope too. (8/10)Juggalo: On one hand, absolutely ICONIC, on the other I'm burnt on it. You're absolutely lucky I Stan Debbie Harry. (7.7/10)Overall: 94.5Song #2:(Originally Sent: Leg 1 Roadblock)Judge's Thoughts:Nick: I think this song is pretty cute. It doesn’t do a ton beyond that but it’s always a very pleasant listen. (9/10)
Mylo: What can I say about this that I haven’t already a hundred times over? It’s essentially a perfect song for me, it’s impacting my real life in a positive way and it’s the sort of song I want to live in. An easy (10/10)
Lukas: (7.5/10)
Cynthia: Choosing a song that pretty much admits you see yourself as a coaster is..a choice, but I'm not mad at it. Theme aside, this is a great song. (8.5/10)
Jaden: (9/10)
Shruggie: (8/10)
Shooter: (10/10)
Mayman: This is one of my favorite songs from Kacey. Honestly though any of the songs from this album would've gotten you an 8 or 9 from me. This song is so catchy and has that spring feel to it imo. (9/10)
DistrictTwelve: Overrated it may be, but rightly so. I was so happy for her when Golden Hour won AOTY. Every song on there is bliss. Butterflies feels like a warm hug, everything blends together so well on the track. The bright production, the delicate vocal delivery, and those vulnerable lyrics. She deserves the love. (9.7/10)
Tanooki: It's not the best Kacey song but its still pretty slick, its cute and sweet.. is it wrong to say that its... too country tho? like i really like high horse which is barely f**kin country and this one actually sounds like a country song maybe thats why i dont like it as much (7/10)
Juggalo: This song is just Meh (6/10)
Overall: 93.7

Special Roadblock Results:(Sent by Gates)Judge's Thoughts:Nick: eek I do not like this song. its what I imagine certain pastries hear whenever they listen to a rock song. its just so messy and in your face. not a fan at all (1/10)Mylo: Mindless screaming is not my style. Vocals are grating but it's kind of a banger lol (5.5/10)
Juggalo: I'm sorry but this song absolutely slaps and in my judgment I can not say it sucks when it does the opposite for me (8.5/10)shazam: the opening scream made me laugh out loud, i haven't heard as bad of a euphemism for sex as this in a long time (0.4/10)Overall: 25.9 -> 54.1 Wut why do the judges like this so much lol
