Compared to everything else's drops, The Box's are huge. It might already be on its way out unless that music video comes out SOON by volume, yes. by percentage, not really⦠the top 10's drops by % (smallest italicised, largest bolded) 1- Roddy Ricch: The Box (-12.52%) 2- Future f/ Drake: Life Is Good (-13.71%) 3- Eminem f/ Juice WRLD: Godzilla (-17.19%)
4- Arizona Zervas: Roxanne (-9.99%) 5- DaBaby: Bop (-12.24%) 6- YNW Melly: Suicidal (-7.72%)
7- Trevor Daniel: Falling (-7.85%) 8- Post Malone: Circles (-9.04%) 9- The Weeknd: Blinding Lights (-10.09%) 10- Tones & I: Dance Monkey (-10.32%)

If it falls past Life Is Good on streaming no amount of radio can prop it up, especially now that meme compilations aren't counted

Is it time for the "Spotify's dead" obligatory posts or do we understand that Sunday usually sees a decrease for everything and there were no big releases this week... I might be reaching, but I think Kobe Bryant's death had something to do with why yesterday's losses were especially huge. It shook the entire country. I guess not a lot of people felt like streaming their favorite songs as much following the news of his death. I wanted to say the same.

It's so comfortably ahead of everyone. The drop is normal.
Wish someone big would drop a lead single soon tho. Some competition would be interesting (I know Drake/Future are big but it wasn't even a really close race vs "The Box").

You have Demi with anyone but I highly doubt that would make noise from the streaming side of things or radio other than that this is roddy time/world and we are all living it.

Demi isn't that big anymore, she honestly never was and just was charting because the music was good
especially a Sad song will not do well

Lose You to Love Me debuted with 2.66M, watch Demi do the same. It's not enough to dethrone The Box but #2 should be possible.

We got the "Spotify's dead" and "Adele/Rihanna" squares checked on the same day. Rih was on the Def Jam party over the weekend. At least she's still apparently a music star somehow lol. I wonder what's the story there, because multiple accounts of finished tracks, and even whispers of the album being done are out there. Maybe she's not happy with it? ANTI went through multiple versions and three singles ended up on the cutting floor.

Selena has still been involved in celebrity stuff while she wasn't making music but Demi has been out of the spotlight long enough for people to forget

It's hard being on the spotlight when you overdose and almost die.
Selena always had above average streams, even for her underperformers like "Bad Liar". I don't see Demi suddenly growing her streams so much, but stranger things have happened.

I'd think a top 10 debut for her would be an accomplishment with the shortened week for the song. It would help if the count if the Grammy performance videos viewed at YouTube would count.

I meant #2 on Spotify daily charts. No way it'll be #2 on Hot 100.

the thing about everyone comparing Billie to Adele is that means her 21 era is still approaching I find Billieβs career mirroring more Taylor Swift than Adele, if anything. WWAFAβs accolades and chart success is extremely rare and is once in a lifetime for artists so I doubt she will see the same success for her next album. Iβm sure itβll be massive and successful but WWAFA is just too much of a juggernaut to be dethroned. But then again nobody thought Taylor would outdo Fearless and then 1989 came along so who really knows! Still funny how people think Billie will be the βnext Lordeβ as if she isnβt already way bigger than Lorde ever was lol
