The only Drake features that have ever reached #1 were both with Rihanna. I hoped Life Is Good would manage to debut at #1, but outside of the Rihanna songs, it's the highest-peaking song Drake has ever appeared on as a feature and it says a lot about his commercial powers, seeing as none of his features in 2018 peaked that high (in his defense, he scored back to back #1 debuts and he appeared on so many songs that his fans had to split their attention in a lot of different directions, while with Life Is Good, so far, it's the only song his fans need to focus on supporting).

I can't wait for him to officially start his new album era. I predict a lot of top 10 hits for him this year.

Future and Drake are huge names with huge power. If they really wanted a #1 they could drop a remix with some other massive guys like Travis or Thug.

I do really appreciate that it's still doing well, I was tired of the Yummys and Heartlesses that just disintegrate after their first week

This is more than accurate. Dua Lipa is infact a C-list artist in the US. She just scored her second top 10 in the US and she can barely play 5K capacity venues in the US, meanwhile she scores #1 hits in Europe and plays arenas over there.

No more different than a country-trap hybrid by an unknown guy and a country one-hit wonder going #1 for 19 weeks, or an uplifting, bombastic song by a former mid-2000s emo band going top 10 during the peak of lowkey hip hop and trap domination 🤷‍♀️

Dua Lipa has earned it. Her first few songs were released in 2015 and it took two years for her to finally get mainstream attention. It does help that she has a strong team behind her, sure, but the quality of her songs is a key contributing factor as well.

He's had a cult following for a while now- he's been making music for an audience of like 100,000 people since 2016. In terms of industry plants he has a pretty good alibi. I am pretty suspicious of Trevor Daniel and his annoying little ballad however...
