When this rankdown finally starts, it will be not a moment too soon I may have been waiting for taylor is terrified's list aka waiting for hell to freeze over. But my stomach has been torn up (in literal knots) the past few days and I haven't really been online, I'll try to start this in the next day or two!

1. What song will be #1? I think it’s going to be a photo finish between both “Don’t Take the Girl” and “Not a Moment Too Soon”
2. What song will be last place? “40 Days and 40 Nights” or “Ain’t That Just Like a Dream”
3. What album track will do the best and how far can it get? Maybe “Wouldn’t Want It Any Other Way”?
4. What single will do the worst and where will it place? I say "Indian Outlaw" still manages to make the top five with #4 being the highest it could get
5. What will be the most polarizing song of the rankdown? “Indian Outlaw” Least? “Not a Moment Too Soon”
6. Any other thoughts/predictions? I remember going to see Tim when he opened for Little Texas during their Kick a Little tour in 1994 and it goes without saying he absolutely stole the show from the headliner. It was quite apparent then that he was going to be a superstar.

1. What song will be #1? Not A Moment
2. What song will be last place? Wouldn't Want it Any Other Way or It Doesn't Get Any Countrier Than This
3. What album track will do the best and how far can it get? no clue as to the tune but I'm guessing #4
4. What single will do the worst and where will it place? How far will the PC Police allow Indian Outlaw to get? #5 at best
5. What will be the most polarizing song of the rankdown? Least? Most - Indian Outlaw for the win! Least - Not a Moment
6. Any other thoughts/predictions Mass chaos if Don't Take the Girl wins...

1. What song will be #1? "Not A Moment Too Soon" 2. What song will be last place? "40 Days And 40 Nights" 3. What album track will do the best and how far can it get? hopefully "Ain't That Just Like A Dream", just inside the top 5. 4. What single will do the worst and where will it place? How far will the PC Police allow Indian Outlaw to get? It'll outlast a couple of album tracks, but I doubt it seriously threatens the top 5 5. What will be the most polarizing song of the rankdown? Least? Indian Outlaw - Not a Moment Too Soon 6. Any other thoughts/predictions? Such a great album. One of the very few I can listen to all the way through with no skips. I seriously like every one of these songs.

1. What song will be #1? "Don't Take The Girl" is walking away with this I think. 2. What song will be last place? "40 Days And 40 Nights" 3. What album track will do the best and how far can it get? "Ain't That Just A Dream"? Not really sure what's favorited here at all. 4. What single will do the worst and where will it place? How far will the PC Police allow Indian Outlaw to get? As a Native American I'd like to say I'm not being a PC Police with my ranking of this awful song. 5. What will be the most polarizing song of the rankdown? Least? "Indian Outlaw" probably for most. Least may be "Down On The Farm" 6. Any other thoughts/predictions? I actually prefer his debut over this album, though this feels more like the Tim we now know. I think he only truly got in his groove with his 3rd album.

1. What song will be #1? "Not A Moment Too Soon", probably. 2. What song will be last place? "40 Days And 40 Nights" feels like it might draw the short straw here... 3. What album track will do the best and how far can it get? "Wouldn't Want It Any Other Way", hopefully! Probably getting stuck at #4 behind the album's 3 big hits. Although I also wouldn't be surprised to see "Ain't It Just Like A Dream" get that honor too. 4. What single will do the worst and where will it place? How far will the PC Police allow Indian Outlaw to get? I think this is a trick question, and "Refried Dreams" will be the first single to leave ;) "Indian Outlaw" will not automatically flock to the top of the list like the singles normally do, but I would not be surprised to see it scrape the #5-6 range! 5. What will be the most polarizing song of the rankdown? Least? Most: "Indian Outlaw" or "Don't Take The Girl". Least: "Not A Moment Too Soon" 6. Any other thoughts/predictions? I'm hopeful that "Down On The Farm" didn't get done too dirty here!!! It deserves a spot in the top 3 for sure, but I would absolutely be fine with it going higher!! For me, that single has aged better than any of the other ones.

1. What song will be #1?
I'm guessing "Not A Moment Too Soon", though it should be "Don't Take The Girl"
2. What song will be last place?
I think it'll be "40 Days and 40 Nights", but would be okay with "It Doesn't Get Any Countrier Than This" if it isn't
3. What album track will do the best and how far can it get?
Probably between "Wouldn't Want It Any Other Way" or "Ain't That Just A Dream". I wouldn't be upset to see "Give It To Me Strait" do well because I really like that one as well
4. What single will do the worst and where will it place? How far will the PC Police allow Indian Outlaw to get?
I get the complaints of "Indian Outlaw" and cannot defend the issues with it but I just love the song and enjoy listening to it. I could see it going around 5 or 6 like has been mentioned by others
5. What will be the most polarizing song of the rankdown? Least?
it'll be either "Don't Take the Girl" or "Indian Outlaw". I'll be shocked if those 2 are not the top 2 most polarizing songs
6. Any other thoughts/predictions?
I love this album, and all 5 singles hold a lot of nostalgia for me that none of the album tracks can touch for me personally but I enjoy the entire album and am sad that people are not as big on the album as I am. I think this album as a whole is better than the All I Want album. "Refried Dreams" should be the first single eliminated.

The hint was Josh Hartnett after his terrible 2002 movie, 40 Days and 40 Nights. I really hated the way that all came to an unhappy ending for him :kii:

"40 Days And 40 Nights" stretched his high range more than it needed to. That's all I'll say about that one

9. It Doesn't Get Any Countrier Than This
Total: 111 Average: 693 Std Dev: 2.54
We lose the album's opening track, It Doesn't Get Any Countrier Than This, next. This is one of my two favorite album tracks and I wasn't expecting this to do so.... bad? It seems like it gets more and more catchy to me the more I hear it. But with 5 huge nostalgic singles on a ten track album, there was hardly any wiggle room. castleoblivion26 and gonecountry lose their last place! Also, apparently the word Countrier doesn't exist and when you google it, this song is the only thing that comes up. 😂

"Give It To Me Strait"? It's gonna take a fireman ;)

The worst thing about "It Doesn't Get Any Countrier Than This" is literally the title which ClevelandRox alluded to as the word "countrier" is just cringeworthy. That said, the song itself is quite catchy and fun but I'm not surprised to see it leave in the bottom two.

Third out is the George Strait homage, Give it to Me Strait! I'm happy to report George Strait Junkie felt strongly enough for it to put it as his #1! I really love the references in this one and it's an easy enough listen. someguy is our next to lose his last place, he didn't want it given to him Strait at all! bboat11 got my hint right, The Fireman reference. :) (and ofcourse, I had to make it a sexy fireman)

Tim was no doubt a fan of George's at the time as both of his first two albums pay homage to him. But, this was also the time when the studio's were also trying to make every other male country artist the next George Strait and for many of them I don't think that exact style suited them...even Kenny Chesney has mentioned his career didn't start to take off until he stopped trying to be like George.

Um, I actually would want it another way! 😞 We lose our fourth album track in a row with Wouldn't Want It Any Other Way next, leaving Ain't That Just Like A Dream as the highest ranked album track! This is my favorite album track and I wish it could've done a little better, but bittersweet since it's one point ahead of Give it to Me Strait and received no last place ranks, atleast!

Yeah, as a huge George Strait fan....I don't think "Give It To Me Strait" works as well as most of the rest of this album does. It is a good song, but it also just seems kinda forced to me. It also sounds waaaaaay more dated than anything else on this album, which is.......quite an accomplishment Lmao

EW at "Wouldn't Want It Any Other Way" leaving already... Seriously?! Throw some updated production and vocals on it, and this sounds like a ballad that could have been a substantial hit on the All I Want album!!! In other words, the song is better than the album it ended up on, and is 100% being held back by the fact that Tim hadn't quite figured out his sound yet.

Well, is it going to be an all singles top five or will "Ain't That Just Like A Dream" be able to overtake one of them?! I think if anything "Refried Dreams" will likely be the first single out, so I'm still betting on all five singles to make it in (yes, even "Indian Outlaw").
