Our first top ten loss is Kristofferson. I love it, but this is about where I assumed it would finish. austin, Cody Wants Out... and someguy lose their last place and four others got perfect rankings! edit: Quoted the original post so it would be on the new page. 😂

Up next we lose one of the four remaining album tracks. I honestly can't decide which is a more unique song title to have TWO songs in your discography with the same name, this or Telluride. 😂 The only three ranking positions this didn't get are a #1, a #9 perfect ranking, or any last places... so I have no one to shout out. 😭

This shouldn't be the first Faith Hill collab out.

We lose another single next, this time the albums final single, Nothin' To Die For. Lots of mixed rankings for this one, but no top 2's or bottom 2's are lost. No one has lost their #1 yet, but all that is about to change as EVERY song left has atleast one #1!

"Kristofferson" is a great song and classic-sounding country with a throwback melody...but it was a weird single choice, which makes sense since this was the worst single-managed album I've ever seen lol. Mike Curb adored it, which makes me think it was just a personal single pick.
I'm lowkey shocked "Shotgun Rider" is out already, but looking at the remaining songs, I guess I shouldn't be. I'm not as big on "I Need You" as others, but it's a good song. "Last Dollar" is a guilty pleasure, but I understand the hate lol. A strong top 7, overall.

I’m surprised “Last Dollar” is still in, despite probably being the biggest hit from the album. Very glad to see my top 2 in tact though.

I'm thinking if the song begins with an "L", its days are numbered and the Top 5 is not terribly likely (for at least one of the two songs)

Very solid top 7. Replace "Last Dollar" with "Shotgun Rider" or "Kristofferson" and it would be just about perfect.

Those predicting Last Dollar was down to it's last dollar were right in what ended up the most polarizing song of the rankdown. The rankings are literally all. over. the. place. HeyHeyHey loses his #1 (:'() while kw9461 and lady𝓐fan lose their last place!

Oh I didn't expect last place rankings for "I'm Working" I always thought it was fantastic and I actually love Tim's vocal on it. Was one of the first songs I heard from Lori's songwriting catalogue and I instantly wanted to know more.
Loving that 3 album tracks are still in the running and I could see them outlasting at least one of the remaining singles!

The last song to miss the top five is the album track Whiskey and You. This song has honestly never been on my radar, so I was a bit surprised when it got a ton of support as lists came in. Fans of this song, please don't cancel me- I'll do better in the album tracks rankdown now that it's left an impression. 😂 lady𝓐fan and gonecountry are the latest #1 casualties. Going into the top five, we have three singles and two album tracks left. Four of the five all spent time in the #1 spot for multiple lists during submissions! Predictions how the top five will go?

"I'm Workin'" is such a bore and I can't believe it found itself outside of the bottom 3. I just can't get into this song and personally I think Tim sounds quite rough. Because if Lori McKenna recorded this it would be much better This comment is partly inspired by Chris Stapleton's version of Whiskey and You, which is the definitive vetsion to me.

Chris Stapleton’s “Whiskey and You” > Tim McGraw’s “Whiskey and You”
I’m honestly quite surprised this did so well here because I just thought something was missing overall from it. I don’t know if it was the production or his voice, but it just didn’t work for me.

Bummed “Last Dollar” didn’t make the top 5! I am so ready for a summer vacation though...has anyone been to Happyville or Loving Land? They sound like fun places to be!

"Last Dollar" is such a jam! I completely understand why it is polarizing, but I have loved it from the moment I heard it, and continue to love it even more as I get older. It's silly and stupid, but sooooooooo catchy! Love it or hate it, "one, two, three, like a bird I sing" is permanently embedded in your brain once you hear it, and it will NEVER leave "Nothin' To Die For" is one of his most underrated hits! I can't believe I was the highest ranker for it, and it was only at #8... I knew the top 5 would be stacked here, but would have been happy to see this one around like #6 at the lowest. I feel bad, but I did not really like this version of "Shotgun Rider" at all... Something about it was very boring to me, in the same way as something like "Meanwhile Back At Mama's"... I figured people would love it though, for the same reason as everyone except me loves MBAM... "Kristofferson" is a stone cold country jam!! And a HORRIBLE single choice..... I love the song, but it would have been even more lovable as an album track... Making it a single automatically associated it with disappointment... As I said before, "I'm Workin'" was one of my favorite album tracks. I'm shocked to see so much hate for it!!! To me it sounds like it would have fit right in alongside all the amazing album tracks on the Southern Voice album! The vocal is literally fine (what even are these complaints about it being "rough", lmao), and the lyrics are moving and well-crafted.

Another random note about "I'm Workin'", it could basically be like a prequel to the "Highway Don't Care" music video. That random thought definitely tickled me and made me like it more

"I'm Workin'" being the second least favorite song of his ENTIRE CAREER, below even songs like "Lookin' For That Girl", "Truck Yeah", the Shy Carter songs, and the entirety of the Tim McGraw & Friends album, gtfo with that bulls**t ClevelandRox 😂 Edit: As terrible as it is, even liking "It's Your World" less than any of those aforementioned songs is floppy as hell!

Also before I missed it, I should comment on Last Dollar (Fly Away) which definitely earned the most polarizing song. I think the Bruce Springsteen inspired riff is decent enough, but firstly the vocal effect on the d̵͎̖͕̳̻̰̎̀̏͌̿̾͆̉̓͝ơ̶̢̺̤̰̘̪͕͖̪̋͊͌̆͆̋̈́͜͜͠w̷̟̳̠̳̣̮̿͒̒̐̇̔͘ñ̴̮̩̱͉̟̩̯͜ in the bridge, and second the child choir at the end. This is overdoing the idea.

I can't tell you how many times I've played the Let It Go CD over the years, thousands of times easily. Such a solid album. I'm Workin' is a fine song, very earnest in it's delivery.

Our first top five loss is I Need You and we lose three number 1's with it. :'( Condolences to .indulgecountry, someguy and gardyfan. But a congratulations in order for Darkest Hour who finally loses his last place that he's been vocal about. 😂 I have a phobia of needles so I've never been crazy about the LIKE A NEEDLE NEEDS A VEIN lyric 💉💉💉😩 ... but I do still love the song. My hint was originally for Meanwhile Back at Mama's last rankdown for "daddy smokes cigarettes", but when MBAM squeaked into the top 2 last minute, I couldn't really do a hint for it. So I burned it off here since it could've been I Need You or Train #10.

Let It Go was a #1 contender? I'll be damned.
I always found it catchy as hell.
Still don't see it winning it all.
