castleoblivion26 gets somewhat sweet revenge after losing his #1, now losing his #14. countrymusicjunkie scores another perfect ranking and Kanenrá:ke joins him! Another of my favorite album tracks, and while we're on the subject, here are the five that survived to the album tracks rankdown! Tickin' Away, Sleep Tonight and the ones we're still waiting to see- Home, Sing Me Home, and All We Ever Find. Can any break up the singles Red Ragtop, Rain and Real Good Man? Another #1 loss is coming. :'( Say your prayers, tim! 🙏

Nothing but love for gonecountry , but I think his predictions had a lot of y'all shaking in y'alls boots.  Gonna go down as one of my favorites pre-reveal prediction posts. 1. What will be #1? I am not super positive on this one... Normally I'd say Real Good Man (a JAM), but perhaps Watch the Wind Blow By? 2. What will be #15? Sing Me Home? All We Ever Find? 3. What will be most polarizing? Least? M- She's My Kind of Rain L - Wind 4. Which singles (Red Ragtop, She's My Kind of Rain, Real Good Man, Watch the Wind Blow By) will do best? Worst? Best- Wind Worst - Rain 5. What will be the highest placing album tracks? That's Why God Made Mexico 6. Which will go farther, Home or Sing Me Home? Home, for sure 7. Any other thoughts/comments? I revisit this album a lot. That said, I think there are those who have strong dislike for 3 of the 4 singles for various reasons. Pre-reveal king. 🙌 |

tim dodges another bullet as kw9461 's #1 is the latest casualty and just misses the top five.  Rankings in almost every position made this the second most polarizing! bboat11 Cocoa got a perfect ranking here! gonecountry finally loses his #14 and the first half his last-place prediction. 😂  Gonna stop there for now, and hopefully finish this up in a few hours! Predictions welcome!

I figured it would be the 3rd highest album cut, so top 5 always felt a bit out of reach, shame it came so close but missed out. I've always loved it though. Great fiddle & steel combo, killer chorus melody, and surprisingly deep lyrics. Always been a favorite of mine. |

We lose the last of the three non-single opening tracks in fifth place! Sing Me Home wins the prediction battle of which will go farther! Lots of middle of the road rankings here, making it the second least polarizing. I think top five is a good finish for this, as lots of these have been super close in the point totals. |

well this rankdown is canceled. "Tickin' Away" is easily my favorite from this album. Also both "Sing Me Home" and "She's My Kind of Rain" have overstayed. "Red Ragtop" better be #1!

He can blame his BFF bboat11 and gonecountry ! I think I even underranked it at 7, I would've loved for this to have been a single over Watch the Wind Blow By. Cody Wants Out... and someguy got perfect rankings here! So that leaves us with the albums first two singles! Which will come out on top?! |

And there you have it!!! Red Ragtop gave the rest of the rankdown a total ass whoopin', accumulating ONLY 21 points! By far the best a song has done in any of my Tim album rankdowns, and feels close to the lowest deviation for a rankdown I've hosted- Almost even with Every Time I Hear Your Name (which boat claimed was incorrect- it wasn't. 😂) It was never even close! Through the submissions, a lot of people mentioned the lyrics to Rain as it's downfall, so that must've been a subject heavily held here on Pulse. Congrats to austin , Cody Wants Out... , countrymusicjunkie , Kanenrá:ke and someguy on their perfect ranking for the winning song! |

Indeed it is. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, I was deployed to the Middle East shortly after this album was released and it's one that I listened to frequently to pass the time or when I was at the makeshift gym we had. "Sing Me Home" was a song that I revisited time and time again while I was overseas and still to this day I like to put it on from time to time. It's easily my favorite album track of Tim's, so you can probably already guess what will be my #1 song in his album tracks rankdown. I think I even underranked it at 7, I would've loved for this to have been a single over Watch the Wind Blow By. THIS! I think "Sing Me Home" would've made for a much better single over that and to this day I'm surprised it was overlooked. I certainly didn't go into this rankdown thinking it was going to be a top 5 contender let alone top 3, so I'm thrilled with how well it performed here. Thanks again ClevelandRox for the hosting duties! It was quite the nostalgic trip going back to revisit the songs on this album. |

Not surprised at the curb-stomping "Red Ragtop" gave to this album! That has always been a bit of an underrated fan favorite, despite radio not being too keen on it. I absolutely love the dobro in this  "She's My Kind Of Rain" in the top 2 is a pleasant surprise though I just love this one so much! It is very unique, which is something that I think puts a target on its back sometimes, but I love the melody and Tim's vocal is perfect. Also, thinking these lyrics are stupid is a Ten Pound Hammer move, so we don't hold that opinion around here anymore. |
