Wish we were doing like what we've done in many other RDs where the alternate versions of songs from the deluxe edition weren't ranked as separate songs. I think it's more effective if we just let people rank whichever rendition they use and call it good, because I can imagine I'll probably just wind up throwing all those in my bottom 3 just due to not having a use for them since I don't typically listen to two different versions of the same song. 🥴
Aside from that, looking forward to ranking the record.

I have considered doing it that way however I already had someone submit who put the different version tracks throughout their ranking and only one near the bottom so you never know lol. To absolutely nobody's surprise, "Giddy Up!" (Malibu Babie Remix) is out first. Outside of Kanenrá:ke, the track remained in last place for most of the rankdown. I personally have only listened to it a few times and while I do not mind it, it is definitely lower tier on the album. I do commend Shania for branching out though and trying something new. Even though most would not deem is a good collaboration, we cannot say she does not try new things. Now, would the remix have been more popular if done acoustically? Hmm... |

To nobody's surprise part 2, "Queen of Me" (acoustic) lands at #18 in the rankdown. There were more middle-of-the-road rankings of the track than I was expecting so I am actually glad I decided to have both versions of the song ranked separately. Kind of a nice experiment.
Now, everybody take a breath for a second because the rankdown is about to continue...
