This guy really has had quite the drop off career wise. He seemed poised to break out big following “Drunk On Your Love”, but now it seems like they’ve virtually threw in the towel. This single isn’t that radio friendly and now the album comes out before most country listeners have even heard his new song. A little surprised but I guess with tons of new artists scoring hits, somebody has to get weened off radio eventually. I agree with you so much. I saw Brett as an opener for Luke Bryan and he was awesome! Super dynamic with great live vocals, so I seriously thought he was going to become one of the staple guys so to speak. It is good I guess that he seems to have more artistic freedom to make these type of songs. However, it is important to not completely isolate radio and your initial fanbase.

I agree that he shouldn't have basically fallen off the face of the earth for a year, but apparently he was struggling with his mental health?

He wasn’t into his music and I don’t think he liked being known as the Snapchat model who has a dog. It seems he’s completely changed from that, and good for him for doing what he wants. Even though I do miss those hilarious videos lol Sometimes the happiest looking people in the world are actually miserable, and I’m glad Brett seems to have found himself.

I have to imagine this song is just about done on the charts as this fell down 5 spots to #42 on Billboard and without a bullet this week and since Monday on Mediabase this song has lost just over 300k in audience and looks to be a surefire recurrent Monday on Billboard.
It's a shame this song never really caught on but this has been pretty much lifeless on the chart since at the latest July, I would love for "Good Day" to be released as a single and from a pure quality standpoint "Sunday Drive" (with a huge radio edit to shorten the time of the song just fyi).

I'm sad that this basically floundered around since its debut, it's one of the best songs he's sent to radio. While it's not the most radio-friendly song he's released, I thought it would go a little further than it did. I don't know if his label would be willing to try anything else at radio, but if they do I hope it's "Magnolia" - it sounds like the most radio-friendly option left on the album.

Today's update has this one looking like it's on the way out soon. If the label hasn't pulled the plug, they really need to. There's no way this one is going to reach a new peak on the charts and at this point, it's beyond time to read the writing on the wall and move onto something else.

I still really like this. I wish it had done better than the bland run of the mill songs by other male artists out right now, but either way I am glad Brett can make the music he wants to.

I wish the song had a better single run but I get that his new songs couldnt make a big impact on the radio.

Good Day or Magnolia should be at least top 30’s....although Crowd My Mind is one of those that just needs to be heard
