Just curious. But I have been here since 2015 and have more than a hundred posts. I understand that's not much, but that doesn't make me exactly "New" right?

Once you get 500 posts you reach gold member and you’ll be a platinum member once you reach 1,000 posts

I think there should be another name for this category, maybe "novice member" up to 10 posts, then "freshman member" up to 99 posts, then "sophomore member" up to 249 posts, then "junior member" up to 499 posts.

I've found the new member thing to be kinda ridiculous at times. There are some members from 2008 who are still "New Members" lol.

I meant 100, and am just now realizing I missed a zero lol I quite like alumin(i)um too though, that one makes me laugh. So maybe that up to 499 instead...I'm a whole weirdo though and would have plastic, wood, aluminum, and silver levels leading up to gold. you really can't take anything I say seriously these days. |

It's gonna take me weeks to get gold member I’ve always said that to get yourself out of “New Member” status quickly, you have to make yourself known. Tour the forum, find out what threads you like best, get to know fellow posters, and just frequent those threads. That’s certainly what I did when I began my Pulse career in October 2019, and I was a Gold Member before 2020 had even come around. And then thanks especially to the pandemic giving me nothing else to do that year but go stir-crazy, I was well on my way to being a Diamond Member (10,000 posts) by the time my first anniversary here came around. The post number adds up before you know it! |
