I just started a thread in the Lounge forum, and immediately when I checked "users viewing", it said 3. But my thread already had 10 views. How is this possible? A minute later it had 15 views and one reply by someone that was not mentioned in the 3 viewers list. Also, I notice that the viewers list always says zero guests viewing in the Lounge forum. Aren't guests allowed to access the Lounge forum?

You can only view this forum if youβre logged in.
And some people have their profile set so that only mods can see when theyβre online.

These aren't unique views either. Anytime a user loads the page, it's going to count as another 'view', even if its users that have already viewed it once.

So I guess that maybe as many as 20 viewers have viewed it over 300 times in that short time period of time, which is an average of 15 views per viewer, that is if there were 20 viewers in that short time that it was only showing 2 or 3 viewers each time I looked. And they all had to have looked at my thread and not the other threads. I guess that's possible, but doesn't seem probable.
Oh, and by the way it now has 946 views with 6 viewers showing.

Each time you view it counts, too. And it sounds like you're viewing it often. I just viewed it twice myself and I saw the proper view count increase, if that helps you any. There's a lot of factors at play here contributing to the high view count. Just take, for example, the fact that you already have 19 people that have voted. That alone tells you the view count is much higher than the "number of viewers at a time" that you're seeing.
