"I Don't Want This Night To End" is still my favorite Luke Bryan song. The melody is fantastic and the production is as well. I really love "Where I Come From" but also agree it isn't one of MG's best songs, they just have so many amazing songs. I still miss Troy so much "Storm Warning" sucks and in a better year, it would have been WAY lower for me. Hunter's voice remains terrible to my ears. Ok so I detest Zac Brown Band and am not a fan of "No Hurry" overall but dammit, that fiddle in the middle of the song is absolutely STUNNING!!!! Seriously, one of the best fiddle arrangements I have ever heard. Reasons like this are why I defend their talent even tho I'm not a fan. They're a phenomenal band, I just hate their music and Zac's voice.

Um... sabre14 ? I just checked the list I sent you. I have a completely different song ranked as my #24. Honest mistake and will be rectified. Can’t go back and change the #50’s rank, however. My bad.

My bad. Turns out all the numbers are correct, Cody Wants Out..., I’m just stupid and put 24 for you for #50 when I was typing out the post lol.

Hunter Hayes sounds too much like Rascal Flatts for me. I really like “Everybody’s Got Somebody But Me” but nothing else really hit for me.

kinda surprised to see "Georgia Peaches" out already. Especially when trash like "Ours" still remains. Also feel that "Anywhere" should be leaving around here (don't expect it to at all).

“Nobody’s Fool” is such a missed single opportunity! I wish it had been sent out as well.

It peaked at #44 on Billboard in February of 2013. The song was the only charting single for Sarah. She would leave Black River later in 2013 and self-released her single, "Little Umbrellas," with the music video directed by The Lost Trailers founding member, Stokes Nielson. She's been self-releasing music since.
I remember hearing Sarah Darling's name at Sabres games, where she sang the national anthem a few times in 2011-2012. The owners of the team also own Black River Entertainment. I remember being surprised she left after her most successful single. "Home to Me" is a good song with such a feel-good melody.

Honestly Sarah Darling might be the biggest lost potential for a hitmaker as she had all the makings of a hit artist but was in the genre at the absolute worst possible time.

I always liked Hunter Hayes' music well enough. I wonder whatever happened to him all of a sudden? You never hear him on the radio anymore and I don't know if there's even been a release from him since like 2015.

I always liked Hunter Hayes' music well enough. I wonder whatever happened to him all of a sudden? You never hear him on the radio anymore and I don't know if there's even been a release from him since like 2015. He suffered a sophomore slump and radio lost interest in him. He hasn't recently released anything, either.

I always liked Hunter Hayes' music well enough. I wonder whatever happened to him all of a sudden? You never hear him on the radio anymore and I don't know if there's even been a release from him since like 2015. He released two singles to country radio in 2016 and 2019 ("Yesterday's Song" and "Heartbreak") but neither reached the top 40 and he left Warner Music Nashville. The lead single to his second album in 2014, "Invisible," was a horrible career mistake. It peaked at #19 on Billboard after debuting at #26 and he never seemed to recover. I don't think his music after that first album was distinguishable enough.

One of Kenny’s best. On the one hand I’m sad to see it out so early, but on the other I’m glad that it made it this far.

We're at a point where all reveals are going to get painful. I'm pretty sad about Wanted, I think it's just lovely. *sighs* And kinda shocked about Home. Y'all are always overranking some Dierks (eg: see Burning Man 2018 ) and I think this is one of his better ones. edit: me ranking a Kenny Chesney song in my top 50 must mean I really really like it. :sip2:

One of Kenny’s best. On the one hand I’m sad to see it out so early, but on the other I’m glad that it made it this far. Same! I'm appalled by that placement because "Come Over" has gone on to be one of my favorites from this year, so to miss the top 30 feels way too low... I have never been one to sing his praises very often, but Kenny's vocal performance is SO good here! The way he hits those F#4s so perfectly out of nowhere at the end of the second verse and in the bridge This one has not even come close to suffering from overplay fatigue for me the way 95% of his hits have. So I guess I should be glad it came this far because it's Kenny, but I'm still sad.

Oh wow, I stand corrected "Georgia Peaches" has just always been a tad on the annoying side to me. To me the whole arrangement sounds like it was taken directly from Jason Aldean's playbook. I tend to like Lauren much better on songs like "The Middle" and "Eighteen Inches".
