I am impressed with "White Horse" overall, tbh! The dark intro is really cool, and the melody and vibe is actually a really good fit for Chris' voice. The whole arrangement is just so well done. I'm a little shocked to see it miss the top 10!

"Chipping Mill" was one of only two songs in this entire rankdown to pick up multiple #1s! It also sees us losing our final last place rank, courtesy of SHOOTER. This was polarizing, but it was a consistent top 10 contender, which is a pretty neat feat for a group who doesn't show up in rankdowns super often! I love all the fiddle in this one.

Another very pleasant song from Lauren! This doesn't really allow her to show off, but she sounds super solid nonetheless! There is a warmth to her performance here, imo.

Btw, I forgot to mention, this is the first rankdown I can recall where EVERY single one of the top 5 smallest standard deviations made it to the top 10! Ashley and Lauren were both the first two low-polarization songs we have seen so far. Three still remain.

I know I just pointed out the low polarization songs that were left, but "In Your Love" is actually our MOST polarizing song, making it a bit higher than the most polarizing song usually does! "In Your Love" has made quite a splash in the last few months thanks to its emotional and powerful music video bringing some unexpected but welcome LGBT representation, but the song honestly has value beyond just that. This is a well-written and meaningful song! Personally, this americana vibe doesn't hold up to repeat listens for me, hence this only being in my 20s, but it's still welcome to see someone non-mainstream (and non-Zach Bryan) making a dent on the charts!
