Kicking things off, we say goodbye to Cole Swindell! "Single Saturday Night" has the most #20s of the entire rankdown, with 5 people losing their last place here. Cole Swindell continues to be such a pointless artist. What does this guy contribute to the genre? I don't hate this song or anything, but it definitely makes sense to be so low here. I think the only reason it escaped my bottom 5 is the wordplay surrounding the hook hit me the right way when I was making my list. I am a sucker for wordplay, as cheap and forced as it may be in this case Unfortunately this reveal results in a top 3 loss for both HeyHeyHey and ClevelandRox It's about to get worse for one of them, however! One of them will lose yet another top 3 with our next reveal

Kane Brown sure is struggling to find good music lately "Worldwide Beautiful" is well intentioned, but doesn't do it for me. Maybe if it actually tried to be a country song that would help. At least it's an improvement over his attempt 2 months ago, when "Cool Again" managed to be our runaway last place

I’m still waiting to love a Kane Brown song the way I love “Heaven”. I think it will happen and I don’t hate his music or anything, it is just there for me most of the time.
I love the Cole song, for some reason I’ve really liked everything from him!

I just remembered Luke Bryan's "One Margarita" was our runaway last place contender. "Cool Again" was our runaway runner-up. King of consistency

"Darkest Sky" got done hella dirty here imo!!! It doesn't sound like a radio smash or anything, but this is one of those songs that is perfect for sitting around a campfire or something. Also, being in an a cappella group in college, I can confirm that this is the type of song that would be really fun to sing in that sort of context. I do think the context of this song makes it kinda hard to rank in a list like this, because it isn't one that I necessarily want to jam out to on a daily basis even though it is perfectly pleasant to listen to.

Apparently "How They Remember You" is not how we want to remember Rascal Flatts This song was a pretty consistent bottom 5 contender for us. Personally I don't think this song is bad at all! It is pretty catchy. But it is also a tad on the boring side, and just doesn't sound like a song that will hold up very well with time.

So far ClevelandRox has been battered, with the entire bottom 3 being in his top 5... However, somebody is about to lose their #1, and it is NOT him!!!

I am not surprised to see Matt Stell's song be one of our more polarizing songs of the month. This song got a strong showing of love, including ranks in every position of the top 4, but also a whole slurry of bottom 3 ranks. It was poised to be a bottom 3 contender, but kw9461's #1 coming with the last list helped push it up to just outside the top 15. I agree with Shooter that this song is super catchy! I was not expecting to like it nearly as much as I did, but I quickly realized that the sound is HELLA throwback to the mid-00s country. It sounds like something Montgomery Gentry might have had a huge hit with back in their hey day, or Chris Young's debut album, or hell maybe even Jason Aldean back when he was releasing good music in between his attempts to start the bro country movement. I am quite surprised that more people didn't see the appeal, tbh.

I feel really bad about it, but this MCC song is NOT my style in any way, shape, or form. This is one of the most painfully boring songs I have ever had the displeasure of listening to. The only reason it escaped my last place is because the musical arrangement is quite amazing for the last 3 minutes!! Which was enough to put it ahead of Kane Brown for me, whose musical arrangement was literally horrible. The vocal arrangement of this song doesn't do it for me, but I definitely appreciate the artistry that went into it. I'm not even slightly surprised to see this be our most polarizing song either.

This is one of the only good songs Brantley Gilbert has ever released, so I honestly expected it would probably be a top 10 contender. He's still a terrible artist though despite doing one thing right every 5 years, so no great loss with this one 😂 It's a pretty safe bet he'll be a bottom-2 contender literally every time he releases new music from here on out.

Zac Brown Band have been so hit-or-miss lately, this song can be seen as an improvement for them. I still find it to be a bit on the boring side, and I hate the way Zac's voice is produced in the beginning. I'm not surprised to see it get some love though! It's definitely the best song they have released in years!

Gone West tied with Zac Brown Band here, but won out because of d3vin44's #1 rank. This song was one of my favorite discoveries of this rd! The chorus is so amazing, and sounds like it would have been right in LBT's wheelhouse. I'd like to see this one get released to radio!

Jamie O'Neal is one of the most criminally underrated vocalists in country music history, imo. She has the crystal clear pipes of Martina with the soulful tinge of Faith and the power of Carrie. She absolutely should have been as huge as each of them. Unfortunately she never got to that level, but I am SUPER excited that she is releasing new music!!! "The World Goes On" is not her best song by any means, but it is still pretty good. I'd say #11 is an acceptable place for it. Also she has been teasing us with the fact that she recorded a duet with SARA EVANS for her new album, so you can 100% start getting excited to rank that at some point in the next couple months!!!

"Between the Dirt and the Stars" was horrendous. Like laughably bad. I've never been big on MCC, but that was... still not what I expected out of that song.
Gone West deserved way better! What a gorgeous chorus melody and those beautiful harmonies to boot!
