If Rain on Me finally pushes Circles out of the Top 10, we should definitely celebrate by streaming the Gunna remix of Circles I doubt Life Is Good will stay in the top 10 next week. |

Circles does seem to be losing a fair amount of radio airplay now so it might not have much time left in the top ten

In Your Eyes Remix really came and went huh? It was outstreaming the original by quite a bit, then Spotify combined the #s. I hope it doesn't count towards the charts because imo the remix makes the song sound fresher. |

Well, yeah, I know it was big on Apple Music, but according to Billboard, it had 34.3 million streams last week. It’s definitely good, but most of the other streaming number ones this year have had more than that. I know numbers are down now though, so maybe they are really big and I’m just not realizing due to that. |

I wonder how songs written for popstars work. Is it like audition process or do songwriters pitch lyrics to pop stars? I think songwriting teams just write songs and they go into a song bank that a pop star might choose from. Some songs may be written specifically with one singer in mind, which they’ll try to get to them but if they pass on it, it goes to the bank for another bidder. |
