This song has been in so many movies, video games, commercials, you count it. This song was everywhere, and yet, it barely was a real hit. I discovered this one through movie trailers and stuff, but this was also in an MLB The Show game. For whatever reason, the game used The Beats Mix for the soundtrack, which it was pretty much all instrumental and the chorus repeated the whole time. It definitely wasn't as good as the original, lol. The Heavy is a really great band. They've had quite a few songs I've liked a lot, and I think they're a band that should be way more successful than they have been.

Wow, I thought HYLMN would contend for the top 3 due to being one of the most well-known tracks on the list

We Were Promised Jetpacks is a band I've been meaning to look more into. This song was my introduction to them through a friend, and I've been in love with this ever since. This is a really solid song. "Quiet Little Voices" is also another great one from them. I think they're a band that I'll probably check more of their stuff out because I've loved everything I've heard from them thus far. I'm happy this one was able to edge out into the top 10.

Interpol has always been a consistently solid band. They've never released anything I've found bad. "Mammoth" is up there as one of my favorite tracks from them. It's just a kickass track, and it highlights their abilities super well.

Here is your top 5!
Caesars - Jerk It Out Kaiser Chiefs - Record Collection Now, Now - Thread Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever - French Press Roosevelt - Colours
Starting now, there won't be anymore previews just to keep it rolling and so everything seems more like a surprise. #5 is coming soon.

I was really surprised this even made the top half, let alone making it all the way into the top 5. I did not expect to like this song as much as I did. I liked Kaiser Chiefs' output in the 2000s, but their 2016 album Stay Together was just really bland. I checked this one out of curiosity, and fell in love with it. This ended up being one of my top tracks of 2019, and the album Duck was easily my most played album. A lot of super good indie pop tracks on that record. It was a bunch of bangers, but it had a few clunkers, but the highs on that album were so good.

Besides Tennis, I think that Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever has been my band of 2020. I've been absolutely obsessed with them this year. I've known about them since 2018 when I heard "Exclusive Grave" in an Apple Music playlist (on the same say I discovered Blossoms too), and I really liked that track so I kept some tabs on them. I liked "In the Capital" when it came out, but only had it in my playlist for a bit and never sought it out. Fast forward to 2020, "Cars in Space" comes out and absolutely floors me. It got me going into a RBCF binge, and I've loved everything I've heard. "French Press" is absolutely great. Just amazing guitar work, wordplay, everything. The only downside of this song is the vocals take a bit to get warmed up to, but damn this song is just good. I highly recommend checking them out.

I don't know much about Now, Now, but I do know this song is really, really good. The lyrics on this song are really solid, to go along with nice vocals and a great instrumental. This is a song that one of my friends showed me (that also showed me "Younger Us"), and I've been in love with it ever since.

Iconic song. This one is kind of similar to "How You Like Me Now" where it felt bigger than it actually was. This song has gotten a lot of media syncs, but that never translated to radio or the charts. Plus I feel like this song is kind of a meme with the synth-line that it has. I thought this one was going to go all the way, as it was #1 for a long time, then Albie came and gave it the swift kick from the top in favor of "Colours", and "Colours" barely held on by the end.

I knew this one was going to do well and likely finish top 10, but I had no clue this was going to be the one to come out on top. I absolutely love the production on this. It has really good percussion, and I feel like this is just a really creative track. I'm happy this one didn't feel like an obvious winner like some of my rankdowns tend to have.

Good winner. Glad this didn't turn out to be as predictable in terms of the winner as it could've been.

Glad this didn't turn out to be as predictable in terms of the winner as it could've been. TBH I knew from the start "Colours" would be at least in the top 4

yeah! ![:-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) there was never a doubt that this would be my #1 pick as it was a personal chart topper of mine a few years back. Iβm so glad (most of) you share my love for this & that it wound up on top! This whole album is amazing & this track is the highlight. I was, however, a bit let down with the 2nd album. Hope he can right the ship in his next effort.
