the US isn't ready for ROSALIA unfortunately. I like her material a lot, "Aute Cuture" to "Juro Que" to "TKN," and even her on the "Highest in the Room" remix. it's still top 50 on Spotify, and Top 100 on Apple Music, so not an underwhelming showing for her. I wonder why she hasn't been able to break into the US like Bad Bunny and J Balvin have. same reason Natti Natasha, Karol G and Becky G haven't had huge hits yet: she's a woman. plus, ROSALIA doesn't make reggaeton, so her music so far hasn't been locals' speed yet. she's loved by a lot of big names in the music industry, so I'm sure she'll steadily grow her audience.

If Savage hits #1 this week it will be the first #1 of the year by any amount of women that spent 2 weeks on top. Stable hit did that

I didnt know where to mention this. Not only is South of the Border playing nonstop on the radio in my country, it hasnt burned the least on me so far. Also as the time goes by I think the collaboration album by Ed Sheeran is his most versatile and enjoyable so far :) What country are you in?

That's true. She's already playing 3-5K capacity venues in the US so her fanbase is definitely growing organically. It'll take some time, but I can definitely see it happening for her.

Con Altura not even charting is a crime. That's one reason why it's not always right to judge a hit based on how well it performs in the US. Con Altura was a smash hit by every means. Americans lack taste and are fond of being late to certain waves.

Americans lack taste and are fond of being late to certain waves. There are tons of music globally to soak in. Wish also Caribbean music had a bigger impact on the US chart, there was more appeal for it years ago. Soca music is my main genre from Trinidad, but I listen out to different music all the time. You are right, but I don't know if it's taste or lack of exposure/promotion to the American audience by the Music giants that push who they want to promote.

As a Cuban I feel this, Gente De Zona's "La Gozadera" should've charted back in 2014. π‘

Sorry to ask fhas, but if you points prediction holds true, this would be the first #1 below 30k points since what song?

Sorry to ask fhas , but if you points prediction holds true, this would be the first #1 below 30k points since what song? This is a great question. When 6ix9ine leaked the Hot 100 formula, I adjusted the numbers for all weeks at #1 in 2018-2020. So... it would be the first #1 below 30k raw points in the Streaming Era (2013-20). However, it's kinda unfair to compare songs from 2013-19 with songs from this year because UGC has been heavily downweighted on the charts, so the points are much lower than before. I'd say this: using raw points, it's the first #1 below 30k. Using adjusted points, it's really close between this week's #1, Circles and OTR's first week, Someone You Loved, Heartless, Girls Like You and Nice For What (final weeks). Also, Circles at #10 with 17.4k is by far the lowest for a #10 over the last three years.

So that Future remix of Roses really didn't accomplish anything Well this and one other song had an increase in the entire top 25, based on the predictions.

It will interesting to see if Out West and Sum 2 Prove manage to beat the 20 week Hot 100 recurrent rule.

Sum 2 Prove is still in the top 10 on Apple Music. Lil Baby really runs Apple Music.

Go Crazy by Chris Brown and Young Thug is #15 on Apple Music, but not even within the top 200 on Spotify. That has to be one of the biggest disparities between AM and Spotify in a while, no?

I wondered why it had such a big jump in the charts last week. It'd be interesting if that could become a hit, but the difference in interests between Apple Music and Spotify is quite weird.

Pretty interesting idea since it already has the "fuck a cop car" line in it.
