When was the last time 8 songs out of the top 10 went number 1? (Assuming rockstar goes number 1 this week and circles climbs back to #10)

Loving that re-entry from A Lot, not sure how this is related to the current protests, but the song is definitely 21 savage's best imo and the coldest J Cole feature ever I guess it kinda relates to a black man/family having problems and personal issues that 21 talks about

He shouldn’t release this. Considering everything that’s going on, this song can tank (thank god)

I know this won't get much traction but Terrence Martin (producer for Kendrick) collabed with Denzel Curry and released an amazing song inspired by the recent protests

"Sour Candy" needs to be Top 20, about damn time to give BLACKPINK their first Top 20 hit.

I didnt know where to mention this. Not only is South of the Border playing nonstop on the radio in my country, it hasnt burned the least on me so far. Also as the time goes by I think the collaboration album by Ed Sheeran is his most versatile and enjoyable so far :)

Wow. TKN really underperformed. for Travis, maybe, but it's not really a Travis song sonically and he's just a feature. it's doing great for ROSALIA, the lead artist of the song, whose highest charting song peaked at #17 on the Bubbling Under chart. but you jump to call any artist whose name isn't Dr*ke "underperformed"

James Brown scoring a Global streaming hit with a Classic civil rights, pro-Black anthem 63 years after his debut? A Formidable Legend! #BLM ✊🏿 Hyped to see 16 Shots here as well. Truly one of the angriest protest somgs I’ve ever heard.

If Savage hits #1 this week it will be the first #1 of the year by any amount of women that spent 2 weeks on top.

ROSALIA being PND here.

Actually, I don't. And of course, I meant it underperformed for a song with Travis on it. Reminds me of Loyal for example. Sometimes just bc an artist is big doesn't mean it will smash out of the gate. ROSALIA being PND here. Exactly. Not EVERY song by a major artist will be a smash hit. Drake's songs with PARTYNEXTDOOR typically don't chart high or long enough. Won't Be Late is another example. A more recent example is Oprah's Bank Account, a Lil Yatchy song with BOTH Drake and DaBaby. It was released with a video but it underperformed. TKN is obviously doing great for a Rosalía song in the US, but not great for a song with Travis on it. That's all I meant.

Since "SICKO MODE," Travis Scott's featured on 8 songs, and "Zeze" is the only one that made the Top 10. 2 of them failed to chart on the Hot 100, and 2 more missed the Top 40, one of them in 2020. When he was in the lead, "Chopstix" "Power Is Power" "Antisocial" and "Out West" all charted in the lower ranks. "TKN" isn't doing poorly "for a song with Travis on it." You have abnormally high expectations for an artist that has 3 one-week #1 hits, 2 of which were collaborations. Combine that with the fact that "TKN" isn't even a hiphop collaboration, and there is your answer. No reasonable chart-follower would expect this to be a smash out of the gate.

I never expected it to debut in the top 10 of the Hot 100 and in terms of it underperforming, I meant more so on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. It hasn't debuted on the Hot 100 yet. I expected it to peak higher and have more longevity on those platforms than it did. I had really low expectations when Rosalía posted a snippet of the song because I thought no parts of the song would be in English, but Travis' verse is in English so I hoped it'd perform better. I'm only disappointed because I like the song and I wanted it to do well.

I like her material a lot, "Aute Cuture" to "Juro Que" to "TKN," and even her on the "Highest in the Room" remix. it's still top 50 on Spotify, and Top 100 on Apple Music, so not an underwhelming showing for her.

I love everything she's released so far. All her singles and her two albums. The only thing she's been on that I didn't care for was the Highest in the Room remix. I wonder why she hasn't been able to break into the US like Bad Bunny and J Balvin have. Her music is just as good, maybe even better. I think this Travis collab is the first real step into her making a conscious effort into breaking into the US. It'll take some time for it to really happen for her. I'd really love it if her singles weren't so short.
