I’m so grateful that the Hot AC chart is posted on here. I’ve followed that chart closely since it’s inception in 1995. I have every top 10 hit from the chart digitally.

HOT AC/AC OVERVIEW:
On the Hot AC:
On all 3 charts I did (Pop/AC/Hot AC) the top 7 remain unchanged.
Rema has his first Hot AC top 10 hit while Selena Gomez gets her 6th. "Lose You to Love Me" peaked at #3 back in February 2020.
Luke Combs scores his first top 20 with his cover of Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car."
Debuting This Week:
Hot AC faves Maroon 5 return with "Middle Ground." It's their 32nd top 40 hit. "Lost" peaked at #13 back in July 2021.
JP Saxe enters at #37 with "I Don't Miss You," his 4th top 40 hit. "Line By Line" with Maren Morris peaked at #25 in April 2021.
Andy Grammer is back with "Love is the New Money," his 14th top 40 hit. "Saved My Life" peaked at #13 back in October.
K-Poppers Fifty Fifty score their first top 40 with "Cupid."
Recurrents/Exits:
"I'm Good" has a slight chance of recurrentland next week, but breath is not being held.
On the AC:
See above.
Debuting This Week:
Dorian Foyil's AC wannabes Aliens Don't Ring Doorbells have another chart hit at #30 with "Are You Crazy." It's their 5th AC hit. "Big Old Nowhere" peaked at #23 back in November. Despite having 5 AC hits, they have yet to get passed #23.
Recurrents/Exits:
Stephen Sanchez flips tails and goes recurrent this week. Lewis Capaldi flips heads and stays on. As it Was is being As it Was.

HOT AC/AC OVERVIEW:
On the Hot AC:
After an impressive 16-week reign at the top, Miley Cyrus is dethroned by Hot AC fave Ed Sheeran as "Eyes Closed" becomes his 8th #1 on the format. :Shivers" topped the chart for 2 weeks in February 2022.
Country star Morgan Wallen scores his first top 10 with "Last Night."
"Middle Ground" becomes Maroon 5's 31st top 20 hit. "Lost" peaked at #13 back in September 2021. "Baby Don't Hurt Me" becomes David Guetta's 3rd top 20, the follow-up to his #1 smash "I'm Good" from February. Despite being a pop flop Charlie Puth manages a top 20 with "That's Not How This Works." It's his 10th top 20 as a lead. "Left & Right" peaked at #9 back in October.
Debuting This Week:
Joan Jett scores her 3rd Hot AC hit with "If You're Blue" landing at #35. "Long Time" peaked at #27 back in April.
Rita Ora has her first Hot AC hit as a lead on "Praising You" featuring Fatboy Slim whose 1999 hit inspires this one. The original version peaked at #19 back in May 1999.
Nau'Jour Grainger aka Toosii scores his first top 40 hit with "Favorite Song."
Recurrents/Exits:
A nice clearout this week as "Thank God,", "Kill Bill" and (FINALLY) "I'm Good" all go recurrent this week. 2 for 2 on overstayed welcomes leaving, let's see what happens on AC.
On the AC:
The top 12 all remain the same.
Debuting This Week:
Dua Lipa at #24 with her 8th AC hit "Dance the Night" from the upcoming "Barbie" soundtrack. Her collab with Elton John "Cold Heart" topped the chart for 14 weeks beginning in May 2022.
Christian singer and former "The Voice" contestant Blessing Offor scores his first AC hit with "Brighter Days."
Rema gets his first AC hit with his #1 pop smash "Calm Down" with Selena Gomez. For Selena, it's her 9th as a lead and her first in 3 years. "The Heart Wants What It Wants" peaked at #13 in March 2020.
Recurrents/Exits:
I'm adding The Weeknd to the danger zone. Lewis Capaldi stays on and nothing went recurrent this week. Pop and Hot AC behaved so here's another long-distance dedication:

HOT AC/AC OVERVIEW:
On the Hot AC:
Pink scores her 16th top 5 hit with "Trust Fall" and her first in 4 years. "Walk Me Home" topped the chart for a week in June 2019.
Dua Lipa scores her 7th top 10 with "Dance the Night" from the "Barbie" soundtrack. "Cold Heart" with Elton John topped the chart in March 2022.
OneRepublic scores their 18th top 20 hit with "Runaway." "I Ain't Worried" topped the chart for 2 weeks last November.
Debuting This Week:
Taylor Swift leads 3 debuts as "Cruel Cummer" from her 2019 album "Lover" enters at #33. It's her 40th top 40 as a lead.
Washington state native and Idol alum Benson Boone enters at #35 with "In the Stars," a song originally released last year. It's his 2nd Hot AC hit. "Ghost Town" peaked at #12 in February 2022.
SZA lands at #39 with "Snooze," her 4th top 40 as a lead. "Kill Bill" peaked at #7 in May.
Recurrents/Exits:
After last week's recurrent clearout, nothing is expected to go for the next 2 weeks.
On the AC:
The top 10 all remain the same. Hopefully Luke Combs will have something to say about that next week.
Debuting This Week:
Maroon 5 is back with "Middle Ground," their 28th AC hit. "Beautiful Mistakes" peaked at #7 in October 2021.
David Guetta has another hit with his heavy Haddaway sampled "Baby Don't Hurt Me," his 3rd AC hit. For Anne-Marie & Coi Leray is their first AC hits as leads.
Recurrents/Exits:
I've got 4 songs in the danger zone this week, but the only one pretty much guaranteed to go recurrent next week is Meghan Trainor. Dean Lewis is bulleted so he should be safe, and The Weeknd could get a rebound with Meghan going. God knows what's up with Lewis Capaldi.

HOT AC/AC OVERVIEW:
On the Hot AC:
Miley Cyrus returns to top spot for a 17th unconsecutive week.
Taylor Swift scores her 16th top 5 as a lead as "Karma" moves 7-5. "Lavender Haze" peaked at #4 back in April.
Country star Luke Combs scores his first Hot AC top 10 with his cover of Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car." The song is also #1 this week on the Country Airplay chart.
Debuting This Week:
Florida native Dominic Fike has the only debut this week as "Mona Lisa" enters at #36. It's his 2nd top 40 hit and his first in over 3 years. "3 Nights" peaked at #19 back in November 2019.
Recurrents/Exits:
Nothing is expected to go recurrent next week.
On the AC:
The top 12 all remain the same. *yawn*
Debuting This Week:
Former Parliament Funkadelic member RonKat Spearman scores his 2nd AC hit with "Love Safe." "Love Me For Today" peaked at #22 back in April.
Recurrents/Exits:
As predicted, Meghan Trainor was the only recurrent this week. I have removed "Die For You" from the danger zone for now and have added "Sunroof" as it has now reached 52 weeks and will go recurrent if it falls out of the top 5.

Rema & Selena Gomez get their first Hot AC #1s this week, and also re-take the top spot on pop. No entries in the top 5, 10 or 20.
Debuting This Week:
Olivia Rodrigo is back with "Vampire," the first single from her 2nd album. It's her 5th top 40 hit. "Traitor" peaked at #15 back in December 2021.
Post Malone scores his 9th top 40 hit with "Mourning."
Recurrents/Exits:
"Creepin" will go recurrent next week.
On the AC:
The most exciting top 10 in awhile. A few songs swap places and Luke Combs scores his first top 10 with "Fast Car."
Debuting This Week:
Here's a phrase you normally don't hear except if it's Christmas: A 78-year-old jazz singer scores her first AC hit. Jan Daley enters at #28 with "The Way of a Woman," the theme from the 2023 Women Songwriter's Hall of Fame ceremony (which she was also an inductee.) Despite being released in 2017, it has gained new attention with the new WSHOF version. It's also nice to see a song that actually sounds like a true AC song on the chart.
New York band Joseph James (named for the lead singer) enters at #30 eith "For All You Know," their first AC hit.
Recurrents/Exits:
Not 1 but TWO recurrents this week (are you SURE it's not Christmas season?) Harry Styles' "Late Night Talking" and Dean Lewis' "How Do I Say Goodbye." Yet Lewis Capaldi stays on. With "Sunroof" climbing to #4 I'm removing Nicky Youre from the danger zone and adding "As it Was" in.

HOT AC/AC OVERVIEW:
On the Hot AC:
Country star Morgan Wallen scores his first top 5 hit with "Last Night."
The Jonas Brothers score their 4th top 10 hit with "Waffle House." "Leave Before You Love Me" peaked at #5 back in October 2021.
Last week's Hot 100 #1 Olivia Rodrigo scores her 5th top 20 with "Vampire." "Traitor" peaked at #15 back in December 2021. Taylor Swift lands her 34th top 20 hit as a lead with "Cruel Summer." R&B star Miguel lands his first top 20 with 2010's "Sure Thing."
Debuting This Week:
British singer Bakar scores his first Hot AC hit with "Hell N Back" a song originally released in 2019.
Fall Out Boy land at #37 with their updated cover of Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start the Fire," a #1 Hot 100 hit from 1988. The original pre-dates the Hot AC chart. It's their 12th top 40 as a lead and their first in 5 years. "Hold Me Tight or Don't peaked at #25 back in February 2018.
Train closes out the 3 debuts with "I Know," featuring Tenille Towers and (depending which version gets played) Bryce Vine. It's Train's 27th top 40 hit. "AM Gold" peaked at #16 in April last year.
Recurrents/Exits:
Pink drops off from #10 in a surprise, and Metro Boomin goes recurrent as predicted. It looks like the bottom has dropped out for sleeper hit Dean Lewis and "How Do I Say Goodbye" has a good chance of going recurrent next week.
On the AC:
Boring chart. No top 5, top 10 entries or debuts.
Debuting This Week:
No debuts this week.
Recurrents/Exits:
Ed Sheeran could knock out either Harry Styles or Nicky Youre in the coming weeks. Which will it be? Lewis Capaldi must've been forgotten about.[/quote]

HOT AC/AC OVERVIEW:
On the Hot AC:
Reversing what happened on Pop, Taylor Swift dethrones Rema & Selena Gomez with "Karma." This is Taylor's 10th #1 on the format.
Luke Combs scores his first top 5 hit with "Fast Car" also marking the first time in the chart's history that 2 solo country males were simultaneously in the top 5.
Olivia Rodrigo scores her 4th top 10 hit as "Vampire" soars 14-9. "Good 4 U" topped the chart back in October 2021.
Kelly Clarkson scores her 16th top 10 as a lead with "Mine" and her first in almost 6 years. "Love So Soft" peaked at #7 back in December 2017.
Fifty Fifty scores their first top 20 hit with "Cupid."
Debuting This Week:
BTS' Jung Kook scores his first solo top 40 as a lead with "Seven" featuring Latto. His only other solo appearance was being featured on Charlie Puth's "Left & Right" which peaked at #9 back in October.
Tennessee natives The Band Camino debut at #33 with their 2nd top 40 hit "See You Later." "I Think I Like You" peaked at #13 back in August.
After a month off the chart, Coi Leray re-enters at #40 with "Players."
Recurrents/Exits:
After an impressive #3 peaking 37-week run with no pop support, Dean Lewis goes recurrent. Based on the Mediabase numbers, there's a chance Anti-Hero could go next week, but after than it seem slow.
On the AC:
The top 10 remains the same.
Debuting This Week:
Ryan Human is the latest AC wannabe scoring his first hit with "Be Awesome." While recently available, the Nebraska native originally posted the song on Soundcloud in 2018.
AC is late to the 2019 party as Taylor Swift's "Cruel Summer" enters at #27. (Although for AC standards they may be on time). It's her 40th AC hit as a lead.
Miley Cyrus bookends the chart this week as "Jaded" enters at #30. It's her 8th AC hit as a lead.
Recurrents/Exits:
If Kelly can scrape the top 10. For King & Country look to be goners. Ed Sheeran still hasn't chosen his target yet and Lewis Capaldi never bothered to learn the rules.

HOT AC/AC OVERVIEW:
On the Hot AC:
The top 5 remains the same.
Taylor Swift replaces herself in the top 10 as "Cruel Cummer" moves up to #8. It's her 29th top 10 hit.
Despite crashing out at pop already Lewis Capaldi scores his 4th top 20 with "Wish You the Best." "Forget Me" peaked at #7 back in December.
Debuting This Week:
Country singer & rapper (does that make him a Crapper?") Jelly Roll scores his first top 40 with "Need A Favor" blasting in at #26. The song reached #2 on the Country Airplay chart and hit the top 20 on the Hot 100.
Breaking News: We've entered a Padamic! After 21 years off the chart, 55 year-old Kylie Minogue is back with her viral "Padam Padam." Her only other Hot AC hit was "Can't Get You Out of My Head" which peaked at #23 back in April, 2002!
Recurrents/Exits:
Anto-Hero goes recurrent this week meaning there are no more songs that debuted in 2022 on the Hot AC chart (care to take notes Pop?)
On the AC:
Ed Sheeran enters the top 5 with "Eyes Closed," his 9th top 5 hit. "Shivers" peaked at #2 last September.
Despite supposed to be recurrent nearly 3 months ago, Lewis Capaldi scores his 3rd top 10 with "Forget Me." "Before You Go" peaked at #2 back in December 2020.
Debuting This Week:
Olivia Rodrigo enters at #27 with "Vampire, her 5th AC hit. "Traitor" peaked at #23 back in January 2022. Joseph James gets another shot at the chart with "For All We Know."
Recurrents/Exits:
Nicky Youre is recurrent after a 55-week run and reaching #4. The Weeknd qualifies for recurrent, but seeing what happened to Lewis Capaldi, he'll probably be top 10 in November.

HOT AC/AC OVERVIEW:
On the Hot AC:
Luke Combs make a surprise leap to #1 with his cover of "Fast Car." Unless I'm wrong I believe he is the first solo male country act to top the Hot AC chart since its 1995 inception.
Dua Lipa scores her 5th top 5 with "Dance the Night" from the Barbie soundtrack. "Cold Heart" topped the chart last year in March.
David Guetta scores his 2nd top 10 with his interpolation of Haddaway's "What is Love, "Baby Don't Hurt Me." "I'm Good" topped the chart back in February.
Phillip Phillips scores his 5th top 20 with "Dancing with Your Shadows," and his first in 6 years. "Miles" peaked at #15 back in November 2017. Harry Styles scores hit 8th top 20 with "Satellite." "Music for a Sushi Restaurant" peaked at #18 last November.
Debuting This Week:
Billie Eilish has the lone debut this week at #40, "What Was I Made For" from the Barbie soundtrack. It's her 7th top 40 hit. "Happier Than Ever" peaked at #38 in January 2022.
Recurrents/Exits:
NF naturally drops out. Shinedown and Lauren Daigle are in danger of going recurrent if the bottom drops out.
On the AC:
The top 6 remains the same.
Taylor Swift scores her 18th top 10 with "Karma."
Debuting This Week:
New Jersey native and former "Rock Star Kitchen" host Lisa Bouchelle scores her first AC hit with "Love is For the Making". The song's parent album "Jump In" was released in 2021.
AC rulebreaker Lewis Capaldi enters at #27 with "Wish You the Best." It's his 4th AC hit.
Fall Out Boy's updated cover of Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start the Fire" enters at #30. It's their 3rd AC hit and their first in 8 years. "Uma Thurman" peaked at #21 back in October 2015. The original Billy Joel version peaked at #5 back in December 1989.
Recurrents/Exits:
3 natural droppers as 4 songs should be in danger next week. Pink should be a shoo-in, but recurrent rules are merely suggestions nowadays in AC land.
