HOT AC/AC OVERVIEW:
On the Hot AC:
The top 5 stay the same.
Miley Cyrus maskes top 10 with "Jaded" in her 20th week on the chart. It's her 4th top 10 hit.
BTS' Jung Kook scores his first solo top 20 hit with "Seven."
Debuting This Week:
Matchbox Twenty has the only debut this week with "Don't Get Me Wrong" at #40. It's their 19th top 40 hit. "Wild Dogs" peaked at #22 in July.
Recurrents/Exits:
Lauren Daigle is safe for now but Shinedown is still in danger. Morgan Wallen might go next week or definitely in 2 weeks.
On the AC:
Lewis Capaldi re-enters the top 10 with his recurrent-defying "Forget Me."
Debuting This Week:
The only debut is from Christian singers Natalie Grant and Cory Asbury with their cover of "You Will Be Found" from the "Dear Evan Hansen" soundtrack. For Cory it's his first AC hit, but it's Natalie's 6th AC hit and her first in 17 years! "The Real Me" peaked at #30 back in July 2006!
Recurrents/Exits:
Hold Me Closer is purged after 1 year. Lauren Daigle still hanging on and it'd be nice to see Luke Combs knock either Harry or Sia out.

This is Timbaland's 3rd top 40 as a lead and his first in 15 years! "Apologize" with OneRepublic topped the chart for 6 weeks in February 2008. This is Nelly Furtado's 8th top 40 as a lead and her first in 16 years! "Say it Right" peaked at #2 back in April 2007! She did feature on James Morrison's "Broken Strings" which peaked at #34 in May 2009. This is Justin's 18th top 40 as a lead. "The Other SIde" with SZA peaked at #13 in April 2020.

The National score their first top 40 hit with "The Alcott" The banc featured on Taylor's song "Coney Island" and now Taylor returns the favor getting her 44th overall appearance.
Recurrents/Exits:
A nice clearout with "Last Night," "Jaded," & "Chemical" all going recurrent. After refusing to leave for several weeks, Maroon 5 finally drops off naturally. Next week expect David Guetta to go recurrent.
On the AC:
Dua Lipa scores her 5th top 10 with "Dance the Night." "Cold Heart" topped the chart for 14 weeks beginning May 2022.

HOT AC/AC OVERVIEW:
On the Hot AC:
7 of the top 10 remain the same.
Olivia Rodrigo has her 6th top 20 hit with "Bad Idea Right?"
Debuting This Week:
Not only does *NSYNC score their first Hot AC hit in 22 years, they also debut out of the box with their highest peak on Hot to date!! "Better Place" is the band's 6th Hot AC hit. Their last being "This I Promise You" which peaked at #27 back in February 2001!! This also marks only their 2nd top 20 hit. Their previous biggest hit was "Bye Bye Bye" which peaked at #19 back in April 2000!! They certainly are in a "better place" in Hot AC Land.
Country star Zach Bryan scores his first Hot AC hit with his Hot 100 #1 "I Remember Everything" featuring Kacey Musgraves.
Sia is back with her 11th top 40 as a lead with "Gimme Love." "Unstoppable" topped the chart last October.
Another legacy act U2 return to Hot AC with "Atomic City." This is their 22nd top 40 hit and their first in 5 years. "Love is Bigger Than Anything in its Way" peaked at #18 back in August 2018.
Recurrents/Exits:
Lots of crachers this week. Cupid will go recurrent next week.
On the AC:
Country star Luke Combs scores his first top 5 with "Fast Car."
Miley Cyrus scores her 3rd top 10 with :Used to Be Young."
Debuting This Week:
AC land had a fire under its butt this week as there are FIVE debuts. First off the big story of the week the return of *NSYNC landing at #13 with "Better Place." It;s their 7th AC hit and their first in 22 years!! "Gone" peaked at #27 back in November 2001!! Interesting to see on all 3 charts I spotlighted 3 different "last" songs.
AC wannabe Nathan Morris is NOT the singer from Boyz II Men, but a mortician turned singer-songwriter. "Yet," which was released a year and a half ago debuts at #25 and is his first AC hit.
Dance pop singer Lachi and disabled rights activist James Ian both score their first AC hits this week with "Lift Me Up," a song created in memory of Judy Heumann.
We lost him last month but Jimmy Buffett returns posthumously with "Bubbles Up." This is his 16th AC hit and his first in 28 years!! "Mexico" peaked at #25 back in October 1995!! Throughout his career Jimmy Buffett only hit the AC top 10 twice. He reached #3 in 1974 with "Come Monday" and topped the chart in 1977 with "Margaritaville."
American Idol winner Phillip Phillips is back in AC land with his Hot AC hit "Dancing With Your Shadows." It's his 4th AC hit and his first in 9 years. "Raging Fire" peaked at #13 back in July 2014!
Recurrents/Exits:
We had 3 recurrents this week!! After not bothering to learn the recurrent rules, Lewis Capaldi finally bows out with "Forget Me." He also takes Kelly Clarkson and Post Malone with him. Unless there's a tag team to get rid of Harry, looks like the next recurrent won't happen until November.
