The Hot Sheet Twitter account just released one for Carrie over the weekend. The stats are truly amazing; one of the best female country artists in Hot 100 history.

Definitely impressive, especially for a country artist. The selfish part of me hopes she'll earn another Hot 100 No. 1 or at least another Top 5 at some point, but I don't know that I see it happening. It baffles me that BHC didn't peak in the top 5 on the Hot 100.
Having said that, her longevity is just amazing. Her music really has legs.

So, update on that collaboration with Reba. It's actually not for Reba's new album or Carrie's new album. Instead, they're both featured on the title track of Loretta Lynn's new album, Still Woman Enough. The song was written by Loretta and her daughter, and the album will be out on March 19th. No word yet on whether or not the song will be released beforehand.

This is not what I expected at all but this is awesome!! I’m sure Carrie is incredibly honored by this.

As it turns out Carrie has a collaboration with Loretta Lynn and Reba that’s supposed to be included on Loretta’s album

Three legends on one song...I don't think I'll be able to handle the talentry! We have been so blessed in the past year or so. A book full of CU's secrets (that's what I call all those recipes and workout tips and all of it--literally her secrets), TWO entire albums as of this coming April, and two extra songs taking form as collabs. Not to mention that IF we get CU9 this fall as well, we'll have been given three albums in the span of a year. We're not worthy! carrieidol1 I can't help but wonder now thanks to this collab (which could be just a one-off thing of course) whether or not your trilogy theory could hold water. My Gift, My Savior... My Heroes? That would be heavenly. Not to mention that with the exception of the originals on MG and possible originals on MS...they're all cover albums of other songs. The possibilities are exciting!!

I wondered if we might get an album of Guns N 'Roses, Aerosmith, Motley Crue, Ozzy Osbourne etc next.

It wouldn’t shock me if this ends up being a trilogy; the only reason I don’t think this will happen is because the first two are faith based and the third obviously wouldn’t be (if it’s covers of her heroes). Still, it’s anyone’s guess. I’m still so pumped about the Loretta record, what an honor to be a part of this project! How does she sleep at night knowing she’s on a record with Reba and Loretta!? I wish Dolly was in there, too, but hey... I’ll take it!

“Blown Away” and “Church Bells” (which note only received a live video) are both at 49 million views on YouTube and I notice CB is consistently in her top 5 streamed songs on Spotify. Do we have the current sales numbers for these singles?
I always thought her three biggest hits were JTTW / BHC / BA, but it seems CB is either tied for 3rd or or has overtaken BA. Personally, I think I liked BA more at time of each song’s release, but CB has aged so flawlessly for me, where I find myself not as dazzled by BA as I once was. Opinions?
Also, I can’t help but dream up how flawless and massive the Storyteller era could have been for her with a huge lead single roll out for CB with an epic music video, followed by an actual full-on duet version of “Heartbeat”, with the other three singles being a combination of “Choctaw”, “Chaser” and “Dirty Laundry”. I just love how country this era was. How do you think “Choctaw” would have faired on radio? “Chaser”?

I just love how country this era was. How do you think “Choctaw” would have faired on radio? “Chaser”? According to the image above with her Hot 100 stats, Blown Away is 4x platinum and Church Bells is 2x platinum. I have to disagree with CB being her "3rd biggest hit" as I don't think sales or streams are the only consideration. BA paved the way for a song like CB to be a thing. JTTW, BHC and BA are considered her "signature" hits because their success directly influenced the direction of her music. CB was influenced by BA, not the other way around, so I don't see how CB could be considered a "signature" hit and BA couldn't be. CB was a big hit, for sure, the biggest hit off of Storyteller. But one of Carrie's signatures? Eh. I compare it to BHC and LN, CC, UI and GG; BHC is obviously the hit that started that strand of Carrie's discography. I would put BA in with TBC, DL, and CB. If I had to "rank" her 5 biggest hits, I would put them probably like: 1) BHC 2) JTTW 3) BA 4) AAG and 5) CB. How do I think "Choctaw" would have fared on radio? I think it would've flopped. Hard. As in, it probably would've hit top 20 on Carrie's name alone, but (and this is going to sound weird) I think it's way too country and "twangy" to have been a hit on country radio in the 2010s. I will admit, I don't care for the song personally (as in, I won't listen to it...) so maybe my bias is clouding my judgement a little bit, but I do believe it would've stood out on country radio, and not in a good way. "Chaser" I don't think would've done poorly, but I don't think it would've done amazingly well either. It's very pop-leaning, which ironically probably would've helped it out on country radio. I have problems with the Storyteller album, but the singles are actually one of the saving graces of that album IMO. Dirty Laundry, Heartbeat and Church Bells absolutely deserved to be singles. Smoke Break...eh. Church Bells should've been the lead and probably would've done better as the lead than SB, but oh well.

Carrie, we need an advance on this Christian album. We can’t wait until Easter.

Carrie, we need an advance on this Christian album. We can’t wait until Easter. I put on "Keep Us Safe" and the ACM performance of "How Great Thou Art" today, closed my eyes, and bawled. This album is needed; her voice has the ability to bring comfort and healing to a lot of us. A selfish and nonsensical part of me wants her to somehow (whether it be virtually or whatever) perform something at Biden's inauguration. 0.00000000001% chance of that happening though; as I know she doesn't like to get political and people would likely misconstrue her at the inauguration as some kind of message or endorsement on her part.

Smoke Break...eh. Church Bells should've been the lead and probably would've done better as the lead than SB, but oh well. I agree with you just about 100%. Those rankings you put for her 5 biggest hits i think are pretty spot on. Maybe not totally sure about AAG but if its not 4 its prob for sure 5 or 6. I think the top 3 are pretty set in stone and after that there’s probably some wiggle room with AAG, CB, UI, CC, and GG. These are all the ones i hear the most on radio as far as recurrents go. As much as i love Carrie CCA is one of my least favorite songs that she has, i believe it would have bombed also as it is simply too polorizing. Chaser its hard to say, i enjoy that song but i personally think Smoke Break is way better, and of course DL was a fantastic final single of that era. I agree that Church Bells should have been the lead, its without a doubt the best song on Storyteller!

As far as Storyteller goes, I think the biggest missed opportunity is “Renegade Runaway”. That song was made for radio.

I watched one show a few weeks ago and cringed the entire hour. I'm sure she'll be cancelled before long. Nevertheless, I'll be tuning in (of course) for CU.

This seems very random given the fact that all of the My Gift promo recently wrapped up, so let's hope it is the start of My Savior's promo. I have never watched Drew's show before or noticed any buzz for it, lol.

I’ll have to give the show another shot, then. I caught one show but read relatively negative reviews about the show after - so I kinda just assumed it wasn’t going well.
One of my all time favorite movies is “50 First Dates”, I promise I’m not a hater.

Typically new syndicated talk shows are sold in 2 year blocks, so it should make it another season and since this season was such a weird one to launch a show in, they'll more than likely give it a little more leeway although they haven't made any official announcements for next year yet. The ratings haven't been great but they seem to have stabilized to a core fanbase by now... with a healthy dose of hate/wtf is happening watchers too. ha Even though the ratings aren't great, she does still tend to pull a good list of guests on there.

Given Carrie changed her Twitter profile pic to her fitness stuff, I’m sure she’s promoting fit52/Find Your Path for New Year, New You diet exercise regimen.
I thought it was a little weird she didn’t chat with Seacrest on radio or TV for MG promo though. Maybe for the next album she’ll hit up Idol in April.

Carrie now is in an equity deal with Bodyarmor and has a national commercial with NBA player James Harden. Not sure how to do the fancy hyperlink thing, but here it is: youtu.be/ePqew7J4Euk

“Underwood joins an impressive roster of endorsers to the brand including NBA star James Harden, PGA golfer Dustin Johnson, MLB's Mike Trout, pro tennis player Naomi Osaka and soccer star Megan Rapinoe. The late Kobe Bryant was one of the original investors in Bodyarmor and was instrumental in taking the brand mainstream.”
That’s actually extremely impressive. This goes to show just how successful she’s been at branding herself as a fitness guru.
