Looked at the UK and Canada Spotify numbers. Looks like it is just the US accounts that are getting messed with. Tommy Lee is mid 30s while Vacation is not on the map on those charts.

I'm pretty sure I saw it on her IG on saturday morning. that was for for black business directory page which same name as song and posted 6 hours before song release. www.beyonce.com/black-parade-route/ I did see a post on her IG about the song with a 30sec sample, but maybe you are talking about a link to the song. |

There would be no reason to mess with accounts in other countries outside the US, seeing as the Hot 100 is a US-based chart. |

I did see a post on her IG about the song with a 30sec sample, but maybe you are talking about a link to the song. yep. that was jsut instrumental of the song which at the time nobody knew. and zero mention of song release or song itself. |

I know a lot of people (including myself) will occasionally stream or discover music from the Spotify top 50 chart. That means even if Tommy Lee and Vacation got to the top 50 with fake streams, they might organically stick around because people will really start listening to them. (This is probably more likely happening to Tommy Lee since it's actually a good song)

Janis Ian was a one-hit wonder as a teenager with the song "Society's Child" and then was a one hit wonder a second time with her release "At Seventeen." Jaron of Evan and Jaron had a hit with his brother with "Crazy For This Girl" and then was a one-hit wonder a second time with "Pray For You" as Jaron And The Long Road To Love. It's not as uncommon a phenomenon as you would think. |

I don't think Vacation is the only Tyga song getting fake streams. He has 36 million monthly listeners on Spotify which makes him the 29th biggest artist in the world. No way that's for real. If someone is faking their streams, I would expect a very low montly listener, with an abnormal amount of streams, not vice versa, because a few hacked account will be playing their songs in an infinity playlist loop. Although I do agree that this new tyga song's stream is beyond sketchy |

Though on that note, Jamie Walters is the only example of someone that I can think of who is a one-hit-wonder twice. Once as singer of the tv band The Heights, who hit #1 with How Do You Talk To An Angel, and then solo a few years later with the top 10 hit Hold On.

what i meant by billy ray cyrus being a one hit wonder twice is the fact that achy breaky heart was his only huge hit and it was from an entirely different generation), and in 1992 the youngest ones who probably truly remember that song are older millennials. younger kids today are gonna remember him as being miley cyrusβ dad and the guy featured on old town road. hope that made sense. itβs just a random thought i had the other day didnβt really put much power into it
